The 1U row includes the final versions of the Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Hi Hats, and Toms/Congas from our AXX series.

Prototypes for the Rim Shot/Claves, Hand Clap/Maracas, Cowbell and Cymbal are making their first appearance in a video! Some fine tuning will be needed on some before going into production.

Also included are 2 prototypes for the 1U cascadable 6 channel mixer (here, used in a 1U/3U adapter).

Smell the EHX Glove

"If you don't know the movie 'This is Spinal Tap' this video isn't going to make much sense, so here's a quick explainer. Spinal Tap is a 1984 fictional documentary about the rock band Spinal Tap. Among their many problems is the cover of their new album 'Smell the Glove'. The band wanted a greased woman on all fours smelling a glove - shops and the record company say no.
So the video intro is a few seconds from the movie and images are my AI-generated prompts attempting to create a 'Smell the Glove" album cover.
As for the audio: The DB-01 is going into the Oceans-11 reverb (which is usually off) then in The Glove, then to the Nemesis delay. There's a tiny bit of EQ in the DAW.
Drums are from the Perkons going into the Death By Audio Rooms reverb. That then gets another layer from the Fabfilter Saturn plugin in the DAW. So hardly a clean or produced drum sound but meh, this was meant to be a simple demo of the Glove pedal, but that got 'out of hand' hahahahahaha.

OMBIENT: Live!@EMEAPP (4/22/23)

"This was a fun night. On April 22, 2023 we held our first video shoot in our live studio space with an audience in attendance with Ombient and Electric Diamond on the bill.

Ombient (Mike Hunter) was the opening performer on the bill and in the space of 30 minutes, he took the entire room on an electronic sonic journey complete with custom projections by PYXL8R. Armed with his custom Synthesizers.com modular system, Koma Elektronik Komplex Sequencer, Rhodes Chroma, Oberheim Matrix-6, ARP 2600 re-issue and a slew of effects, Ombient's performance was ultimately a swirling, constantly evolving set reminiscent of artists such as Tangerine Dream and Ashra.

A big thank you to Ombient (Mike Hunter), PXYL8R (Ken Palmer) Electric Diamon (Stuart Diamond, Don Slepian and Karen Bentley Pollick) and to all of our volunteers for helping to make this night a well-oiled and enjoyable experience for all.

"The flame mäander provides an analog 12 channel band pass filter bank, which are controllable by an internal pattern sequencer.

sound sources can be the internal polyphonic wavetable oscillator, the analog white noise channel and an external audio input source.

there are one polyphonic note track (up to 4 voice chords) and 14 mono tracks for the audio input, the white noise source and for each filter channel.

each channel include a vca with individual envelope control. all tracks are accessible via midi notes.

create your own patterns, save them in the internal pattern sequencer as a patch and play them on the fly.

with the internal arpeggiator and the keyboard scaler function you can jam very well live.

software updates, loading of wavetables and saving/loading of patches can be easily realized via midi sysex dump."
