8/2/23 Yamaha DD-10 + Metasonix RK8 & R-57 + Zerosum Inertia 6AS6 + Synthwerks FSR-2P + PCM 70
video upload by Cfpp0
"Yamaha DD-10 plays its 'Computer Swing' beat, with Intro/Fill 2.
The left output of the Yamaha goes straight into the audio in on the RK8. The right output of the Yamaha goes to the Synthwerks FSR-2P and then into CV in on the RK8 (though it is not used in this video). The mix audio out of the RK8 goes to the Mazzatron pass through to the EWI bay to the Samson bay to the Mackie Onyx 16:4, where it gets PCM 70 Gated palate on an aux. Two bands from the RK8 go to the Zerosum Inertia 6AS6 (it matters which goes to which input). The 6AS6 out goes to the Synthwerks FSR-2P and then to the R-57 and through the Mazzatron pass through into the EWI bay into the Samson bay into the Mackie. Towards the end, it actually sounds better when the Yamaha volume is reduced, so more or less input gain is critical to the RK8 like it is with Metasonix TM and TX boxes."

Zlob Modular Folidplier
video upload by Żłob Modular
"A basic overview of the wave folding and feedback capabilities of the Foldiplier. Sine wave input in and using the low harmonic setting for the feedback switch."
via Zlob Modular
The Foldiplier is a 4hp odd/even harmonics generator with 2 different oscillating feedback paths. The folding core of the design originates from the odd harmonics (middle)section of the Serge Wave Multiplier. But the Foldiplier adds voltage control over the symmetry and offset as well as a switch for feedback, jumper selectable between, a transistor based oscillating fuzz inspired by the Hemmo Bazz Fuss with a lot more low harmonic content and a passive oscillating half wave rectification circuit with more high harmonic content. When these feedback oscillations mix with an incoming waveform some unpredictable and unique nonlinear timbres can be achieved. The module can also be used as a no-input experimental oscillator with the feedback switch engaged. All diodes in the module are silicon.
The Fold knob controls the amount of times the waveform is folded in on its self (indicated by the red led window below the knob). The C.V. knob below is an attenuator for incoming control voltage corresponding to the Fold jack(indicated by the red led window above the jack, it only responds to positive voltage). So, the Fold knob acts like an initial amount of folding depending on its position. For example, with the Fold knob fully clockwise you can get even more folds with a control voltage in at the Fold jack. The Offset knob controls how much positive DC voltage(0 to 5v, clockwise) or negative(0 to -5v counter clockwise) DC voltage(indicated by the led window above the Offset jack, red for positive, yellow for negative) injected into the waveform via the Symmetry knob. With the Offset knob position at noon(0v) there will little effect from the Symmetry knob. The Offset jack is expecting +5v to -5v with knob position at noon to scan through the positive and negative voltage. The Symmetry knob controls the amount of negative or positive offset voltage(dependent on the Offset knob) mixed with the waveform(indicated by the yellow led window above the Symmetry jack). If positive voltage is mixed with incoming waveform more folds will occur on the positive troughs of the waveform, likewise, when negative voltage is introduced more folds happen on the negative troughs. This part of the circuit can also be broken down by thinking of the Offset as a voltage controlled crossfader swinging between positive and negative voltages into a VCA controlled by the Symmetry knob and jack. When a voltage is present at the Symmetry jack the Symmetry knob becomes an attenuator. The Symmetry jack only responds to positive voltage.

Sampling with Circuit Rhythm and Perkons HD-01 - Trovarsi Connects
video upload by Novation
"For this video, @Trovarsi sampled a bunch of one-shots and loops from the Perkons drum machine directly into the Circuit Rhythm. The fixed-length recording feature was used to grab an exact 8-step sequence to get some loops going and a few one-shots are quickly sampled as well.
Circuit Rhythm's stereo/mono inputs make it easy to sample sounds directly to the groovebox for quick sequencing and sample mangling fun. After sampling, you can quickly get into creative mode and make a sequence out of the samples as well as use some of the Grid Fxs for performance fun!
It's easy to create packs and download your samples from Circuit Rhythm too. Simply connect your Circuit Rhythm to the computer and go to Components.

Here is a download link to the Perkons samples! Enjoy and let us know in the comments how and what you sample into your Circuit Rhythm: https://we.tl/t-W1KaR1jOok"
Ultimate Keyboard for FL STUDIO? Novation FLkey 49 and FLkey 61
video upload by Sanjay C
"This is the Novation FLKey 49 and the FLKey 61. The FLKey is a cheap keyboard made specifically for FL Studio. The Novation FLKey 49 is built around FL Studio and includes full control of the channel rack. Yes, this keyboard can control the FL Studio Channel Rack! In this video I show you everything you need to know about the Novation FLKey 49/61 and I walkthrough all the best features including FL Studio control. I discuss the features, the size, the feel, and show you how to control the FL Studio mixer and channel rack with the FLKey. The Novation FLKey has lots of features including note repeat, drum pads, knobs, and more. However, the Novation FLKey 49 is missing some features that other keyboards in this price range have. Watch and find out!"

Pamela's PRO Workout: Generative Sequencing Part 1 - Melodic Loops & Patterns
video upload by ALM TV
"Pamela's PRO Workout is a powerful generative source of both random rhythms and modulation. Combined with the loop parameters, pitch quantiser, and more, these sources of randomness can be transformed into repeating rhythmic or note sequences that can be altered and shaped or evolved. In this first part we take a look at how to create repeating sequences from scratch with a follow up video coming soon.
This is part of our new video series where we take a closer look at the more unique and powerful features of Pamela's PRO Workout. Subscribe to stay up to date on upcoming videos in the series!

FILTRON: free filter from Polyverse
video upload by DATABROTH
"pick it up here: https://polyversemusic.com/products/f...
read my brief review here: https://www.databroth.com/blog/polyve..."
STATE OF THE ART DIGITAL FILTER
Filtron is a 12dB state variable filter that can smoothly transition between lowpass, bandpass, and highpass. It is capable of self-oscillation with resonance levels that can reach up to 11! Filtron also features a fat sounding internal saturation algorithm and a sizzly post overdrive with two modes to choose from: cold and hot.
Polyverse have released a new free filter plugin, Filteron. I normally wouldn’t write about a simple filter, but I did want to at least share some news about a new freebie. This one sounds particularly sweet, the cutoff is nice and smooth, and resonance goes into self feedback range. The drive alone sounds very nice and is a reason to grab Filtron. Things get a bit more interesting when you open the modulation window for each control. All controls can be modulated by either the input audio, or signals from sidechain inputs, this modulation happens at audio rate, meaning you can get some insanely squelchy modulated filter tones. The UI is a bit on the skeuo-alien side of things, but it’s simple and looks nice. There’s not a whole lot more I can say about a filter, give it a try, it’s free and sounds great. Filtron has me wishing Polyverse would create a synthesizer, this filter built into a synth with the right oscillator and enough of that Polyverse flavor could actually be really interesting."
