This machine plays, sounds, and looks great is ready for another 40 years. You wont be disappointed in this Odyssey. To me, the Odyssey is "the" ARP to play; it can slice thru mixes, modulate into the stratosphere one minute and the next its adding a gentle duophonic richness to your mix. I had a Pro-One for years and dug that, and this goes the places the Pro-One does, with *two* notes of old school analog richness. To my ear the new Karp units don't sound as good as the old ones. This Odyssey has a fixed 4075 filter that gives all the high-end as you'd expect.
This one is in like-new in tip-top shape with service including:
All new keyboard bushings, lubrication and adjustments that make it play like a champ
All electrolytic caps have been replaced on all boards and power supply
All new sliders to replace working, but somewhat finicky originals"

I started sampling some phrases, playing some of my favorite presets on GAIA 2 and then I rearranged everything, chopping, slicing and rearranging everything using the internal SP-404 mkII sequencer.

As its name suggests, the Erica Synths DJ VCF STEREO module provides sound treatment functionality typically found on DJ decks – it is fully open when the cutoff knob is at 12:00. When turned counter-clockwise, lowpass filtering is applied and when turned clockwise, highpass filtering is initiated. Additionally, there is a nice-sounding, adjustable resonance parameter. This provides hands-on control over the sound during performances as well as unconventional timbre modulations that are hard to achieve with conventional state variable filters.
