"This is a stereo wavefolder, 10 hp. It can be quite distorted and brutal !

It's loosely based on nonlinear circuits wf core (Lockhart cells)
​
This stereo wavefolder allows you to achieve interesting stereo - folding effects even with very basic modulation.
​
Output 1 is normalised to the input 2- this allows you to use it as a single ten-fold wavefolder!

When channels are used separately the module functions as dual 5-fold wavefolders.
CVs (fold and offset) from the left channel are normalised to the right channel - so you can use single source modulation for both wavefolders.
It can sound quite brutal and distorted-10 folds is not nothing!

Perfect for mad panning, distortion effects and FM madness!

"The Mutant Hot Glue is a versatile bus mixer for analog effects chain design. The included analog compressor offers series or parallel compression and a sidechain input, making it particularly well suited to drum processing. The distortion can be used in its default position, normalized to the effects send, or like every other part of the module, broken out and used elsewhere in your modular system. Mutant Hot Glue has been faithfully re-designed, paying homage to the original design, with an improved compressor developed in collaboration with Hexinverter Electronique

00:00 - Patch 1 / Glued Drums - Sample Drum, Bassdrum and Pico Drums mixed together. Stereo FX used as Send FX.
01:46 - Patch 2 / Self oscillation patch. Mixer module patched in feedback with itself and modulated with the Octasource.
02:49 - Patch 3 / Glued Drums 2 - Sample Drum, Bassdrum and Pico Drums mixed together. Built in distortion used as send effect.
04:08 - Patch 4 / Glued Drums 3 - Sample Drum, Bassdrum and Pico Drums mixed together. Stereo FX used as Send FX.
05:40 - Patch 5 / Drone Mixer - Waveforms from Black VCO 2 mixed together and sent through the built in distortion."

"Here we have the cLFO (complex low frequency oscillator) from AtoVproject and while making this a demo of the module I also wanted to make a tutorial for making the most of LFOs and Ring Modulation in a modular system. We've got patches showing LFO uses, multiple modulation destinations, ring modulating LFOs, ring mod as a VCA, ring mod for massive bass sounds ... give the patches a go!"

"Episode 7 for Schlappy Patching!
Today we talk volume. Might seem boring but changing the volume of a sound over time result in dynamic, and it is actualy quite awesome! Also if you can change the level of something on one side of the stereo field, you get "panning" effect, without the need of a pan pot on a stereo mixer (you need two VCAs instead). Anyway we'll explore things volume related, using a drum mahcine and some sounds generated by the Three Body, mostly using Nibbler for stepped modulations.

"This is my mint condition Endorphin.es Shuttle System with the Strong Zero VCO module. Module is separate and not currently installed. Comes with original box, patch cables, trrs cables x2, power cable and black face plate. Unit was purchased with black faceplate originally and I swapped it out to the gold. I think it looks better than either version as the original gold has plastic knobs and these are all machined aluminum."
