GAME BOY, volca fm, Moog One, Field Recordings in Tokyo | Verdant Veins 2025-01-28 by atnr

"A piece created using the Game Boy, ‪@KORG_INC‬ volca fm2, YAMAHA MU15, ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, and ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Moog One. Gentle synthesizer sounds overlap against the backdrop of Tokyo city sounds.

The Game Boy sounds are processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOSSY into a lo-fi tone and played back using LSDj, synchronized only in tempo.

The Volca FM2 is saturated through GENERATION LOSS MKII and MICROCOSM while applying reverb effects.

The MU15 has filters and reverb applied using NIGHTSKY.

The field recordings consist of sounds recorded from Tokyo city, including temple bells, bicycle noises, and bird songs. These were recorded with a TASCAM X8."
