Berlin, May 15, 2025 – Native Instruments today released Circular, a mesmerizing polyphonic sequencer that transforms a single note or chord progression into breathtaking rhythmic soundscapes. Announced at Superbooth 25 in Berlin last week, Circular can jump from sketch to score in seconds, drawing out rich and emotive cinematic sequences.

Starting with a single note, Circular utilizes four independent layers, each a canvas for modulation. Control pitch, filter, and effects in real-time, creating motion-rich scores with unparalleled speed and depth. Every sound was designed with polyphonic aftertouch in mind, making for an extremely expressive experience on Kontrol keyboards, and other controllers that support poly AT.
Dive into a vast library of over 160 sound sources, ranging from felted pianos and prepared guitars to hybrid synths and bowed metal. Circular's diverse palette encourages exploration, blending soft and harsh textures, acoustic and synthetic elements, and familiar and strange sounds. Add your own samples to transform them into evolving sequences.
"🔮 Mystic Alloy is a collection of 64 patches for Arturia Minifreak (+ Analog Lab V). It consists of: 11 Arps, 11 Basses, 10 Leads, 10 Pads, 11 Synths, and 11 Textures. The bank spans a broad spectrum of timbres: dark, noisy, lo-fi, retro, atmospheric, detuned, huge, bright, distorted, metallic, amped and others.
🧿 The sounds have some kind of magical charm, for example, it is alchemy, where a variety of components are combined to obtain the desired sound. The patches use granular, FM, wave and other types of synthesis in Minifreak, which interact with each other and give a unique, sometimes experimental sound, but still usable. 👤 The author of the soundset is skendi (Arseniy Pushkov).
The soundset is suitable for many genres: ambient, electronica, IDM, trip-hop, lounge, downtempo, chill out, new age, cinematic, trance, deep, progressive, techno, dub, and others.

Elijah Fox is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. He studied piano at Oberlin Conservatory and his sound blends elements of jazz, hip-hop, impressionism and psychedelic soul. Elijah has worked with artists such as ScHoolboy Q, Masego, Tom Misch, Musiq Soulchild, Rod Wave, Denzel Curry, YG and many more. He is also the touring keyboardist for UK drummer Yussef Dayes.
