2025/10 - ESI Granulizer V2.0 - new features and demo on MPC ONE
video upload by Stereoping
"The ESI GRANULIZER is updated to V2. Reminder: the ESI GRANULIZER is a midicontroller allowing to play samples on the EMU ESI (and other) samplers in grains, being free in speed and position. This was the introduction video: [posted here]
New in V2:
1. improved & simplified interface
2. play sample ONE SHOT in adjustable speed without the need to turn the SAMPLE POSITION knob for traveling through the sample
3. play sample LOOPED in adjustable speed with free START and END points. If END is before START the sample will run backwards
The concept works on any sampler supplying SAMPLE STARTPOINT modulation like e.g. the MPC ONE. Thats the content of the video's third part.

Native Instruments Launches Maschine 3.4
Press release follows (demo video here):
Berlin, October 29, 2025 – Native Instruments has released Maschine 3.4, continuing on a string of updates to its hybrid production and performance platform.
Maschine has always been about keeping ideas flowing, and Maschine 3.4 does just that by introducing a redesigned modulation editor with huge improvements for the desktop, additional Play Series instruments and effects for Maschine+ standalone, and a set of workflow upgrades that make creating music smoother, faster, and more fluid than ever.
Maschine 3.4 adds long-requested tools like curves, marquee select, and pencil drawing to a modernized modulation editor, matching DAW standards while preserving its fast, intuitive workflow. With Play Series on Maschine+ and refined arranging tools, it’s a hearty update that further improves the Maschine platform.
Key Features
· Modernized modulation editor — Producers can now draw curves with the pencil tool and edit multiple points at once, unlocking expressive control and DAW-level precision inside Maschine.
· Workflow refinements (desktop) — Grid snapping, drag-to-edit, updated colors, keyboard shortcuts, and a refreshed UI design streamline production on the laptop or desktop.
· More compatibility on Maschine+ — Run newly compatible effects and Play Series instruments natively on Maschine+ with bounce-in-place for CPU management. No computer required.
· Newly compatible: 24K Keys & Drums, Discoteca Keys & Drums, Empire Breaks, Duets, Feel it, Kontakt Factory Selection 2, and effects like Replika, Driver, Tape Wobble, and more.
A Note for Maschine+ users
The Play Series compatibility on Maschine+ is an unlock for existing owners. A license is needed for Play Series instruments or effects to become available for use on Maschine+ devices. For optimal performance when using sample-based instruments like the Play Series, a high-speed SD card is recommended.
Exploring PoliMATHS' Span Modes | Make Noise
video upload by MAKEN0ISE
"Let’s remember the phrase “From one comes many!” Span and Activate give us three ways (modes) to create different patterns of functions from the eight channels of PoliMATHS. Channel Index mode could be thought of as sort of like Voltage Address, Round mode could be thought of as Sequencing, and Parallel as a Clock Divider. Let’s go through them one by one and we’ll dig in a little further than we had time for in the initial introduction video.

USB Power Everything, without the noise! - How we made the Silent Alchemist for synths and pedals.
video upload by myVolts
"Luke Brennan, MD at myVolts shares his journey, bringing USB power to the world of powered instruments.
With a background in proving power adapters, myVolts have developed a range of solutions so you can power your synths, pedals, AV gear and more with USB. Not only that, but they have created solutions that allow you to do that without the buzz and humm usually associated with USB power.
In this video, he talks of how Ripcord and Step Up, USB-A and USB-C solutions can power your gear. When used with the myVolts mickXer, or with the Silent Alchemist, they can remove ground loops from your setup and make power simple, quiet and easy to manage.
