Spacious Synth Layers with Prophet-10, Moog One & CP-88 | Deep Space 2025-12-08 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"This piece was created using the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Moog One, ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead, and ‪@YamahaSynthsOfficial‬ CP-88.

Sustained bass tones form the foundation, over which spacious synths and electric piano textures gradually layer and evolve.

The Prophet-10 is connected to the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY, where reverb and filtering add depth and dimension.

On the Moog One, synth pads are performed with aftertouch modulation used to gently bend and animate the sound.

The Nord Lead provides the sustained bass tone, with a slow LFO applied to the filter for subtle movement.

The CP-88 plays a Wurlitzer-style electric piano tone, processed through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MKII, adding delay and tight micro-loop textures that blend into the atmosphere."

CME Unveils the H12MIDI Pro

via CME

Press release follows:

Today, we are excited to officially announce the CME H12MIDI Pro, a next-generation USB Host MIDI hub created hand-in-hand with our global community of musicians, engineers, producers, and gear enthusiasts.

The H12MIDI Pro is the latest evolution in CME’s standalone MIDI ecosystem — a compact, portable, ultra-fast USB Host + TRS MIDI interface designed to bring complete flexibility to modern hybrid setups.

Whether you’re working exclusively with hardware instruments or combining synths, pedals, controllers, and DAWs, the H12MIDI Pro provides a unified foundation for your entire MIDI workflow.

A Crowd-Created MIDI Brain
The H12MIDI Pro began as a user-driven idea inside our CME community. Members asked for more ports, more presets, more routing options, and a more compact form factor.

Together, we turned those requests into reality.

This device is not just built for musicians — it’s built with them.

HWJ WC - Stranger Vibes (WIP)

video upload by SynthAddict

"For this week's Stranger Things inspired challenge, I added many style tropes from several of the ST soundtrack selections but still made it more my style. Good fun, but I ran out of time to finish all I had planned."

Acoustic Instruments + Infiltrator (INCOSPICUOUS Presets)

video upload by DATABROTH

Follow-up to this post.

"databroth.gumroad.com/l/inconspicuous
https://www.databroth.com/blog/incons...

INCONSPICUOUS is my third pack for Infiltrator, following INCOHERENCE and INCOGNIZANCE, Inconspicuous has less of a focus overt and destructive remixing and instead prioritizes more subtle and and transformational motion.

In my previous two packs, the incoming audio could end up being completely unrecognizable sometimes, this pack takes care to transform your sound while still leaving the underlying musical concepts in tact (for the most part). As the name suggests, these presets are a bit less "conspicuous" than the others, though still representing my personal flavors and sound design concepts.

Pics of the inside below.

"Genuine 1974/5 early production Oberheim Phasor aka Maestro Mini-Phase.

This is legitimately a piece of guitar pedal history!

IC and Pot values date this to Late 74. IC dates are 18th and 23rd week of 1974. Pot 38th week 1974.

All original, all parts functioning.
All capacitors are working as intended, so none have been changed.

Designed by legendary Tom Oberheim.
While it's not the first phaser to ever hit the shelves, the Maestro Mini-Phase and this Phasor are the firs "Pedal" format phaser in the form factor we all know and love.

This is a buffered bypass pedal.
Anyone claiming theirs is True Bypass has either modified it, or misunderstands true bypass and are just using it as a buzzword.
I included the schematic for you.

This has seen little use it has not been used for the last 25 years as it was in storage.
The owner had it stores in a box of miscellaneous equipment, which was mislabled.
Some battery leakage as shown, but the battery holder is not adjacent to PCB so no functional damage occurred.
I haven't attempted to remediate the damage as I don't want to damage the paint."
