Ambika for Modal Element One is a 50-preset soundset built around organic motion, cinematic depth and expressive electronic colour.

This demo presents a sound bank designed for musicians, producers and sound designers who want to explore the deeper and more atmospheric side of Modal Element One.

The sound direction of Ambika moves through massive strings, deep evolving pads, drones, film-score textures, powerful basses, arps, sequences, cosmic plucks and expressive synth keys. These presets are made to bring movement into a track: pads evolve, textures breathe, sequences create pulse, and basses add weight and structure.

Ambika is not just a collection of static synth sounds. It focuses on sounds that can support full musical ideas: cinematic intros, ambient passages, soundtrack layers, experimental sections, electronic grooves and action-oriented arrangements.

Inside this soundset you will hear organic pads, spacious atmospheres, deep motion textures, Berlin-style sequences, cosmic keys and expressive synth tones shaped to give Modal Element One a wider production role.

"Can the Arturia MiniFreak recreate the character of six classic synths? With the V5 update and custom wavetables, I’m bringing tones from the *Minimoog, Prophet-5, Juno-106, Jupiter-8, Korg DW-8000 and Oberheim OB-X into the MiniFreak.

There’s more to an oscillator than a perfect saw or square wave. We’ll hear how different source waveforms affect the sound, explore the Juno’s bass bump, and combine pulse, saw and sub waves for some properly vintage tones.

Along the way, I demonstrate importing wavetables, compare classic oscillator flavours and explain why holding back on modulation and effects can help capture that vintage character.

These aren’t exact emulations—the filters and envelopes still play their part—but there’s plenty of character to explore.
