SUPERBOOTH 2024: Arturia - Polybrute 12

"At Superbooth 2024, we met up with Sebastien from Arturia unveiled the new flagship polyphonic analog synth, the Polybrute 12*. With 12 voices and a new MPE-capable polyphonic aftertouch keybed designed specifically by *Arturia*, the *Polybrute 12 *is noticably larger than the original, and is a major upgrade offering an enhanced range of sound and modulation possibilities. Sebastian emphasized the expressive nature of the instrument, demonstrating the *Full Touch mode which senses the key travel from the top to the bottom of the keypress. Original *Polybrut*e features like morphing between patches and the Morphe XYZ controller and the lovely wooden ribbon controller are all present and correct. The Arturia-built Keybed must be the standout feature, however, bringing extreme expressivity to your playing.

The Polybrute 12's enhanced capabilities over the original Polybrute include larger unisons, ideal for creating layered soundscapes, and innovative touch envelope modes that allow for dynamic and precise control over each note.

"Music for Polybrute 3 is a single patch created from scratch with the Arturia Polybrute synthesizer demonstrating its expressive capacity. No multitracks. No external effects were used, only Morphee, delay and the ring modulator of the synthesizer. Just, Polybrute.

You will receive all the sounds that you hear in all my demos plus extra. This is 213 patches / presets in total. Every preset has two sounds / layers in it (morphable A & B). You will also get all the sequences that I play (they are stored as patch data). I did not use the Motion Recorder so you can use it for your own purposes. You must have firmware ver 3.0 or higher on your Polybrute to load this soundset. The fancy / artsy names of the performances that you see in my Youtube videos are often too long to fit in the synth’s display so all my presets will be named 'WCOG'.

I did not use any external FX in the demo; all the delays, reverbs, noises and other effects are part of the Polybrute engine / mod matrix. However, I used some EQ-ing on a few sounds."

"No external effects were used in the demos. All effects are internal effects of the Polybrute. No other hardware was used. No compressor, no limiter, no equalizer, nothing, but the pure Polybrute.

All in all there are 50 (!!!) new magical patches in the package with smoking pads, grainy strings, organic drones and deep textures. I designed all the sounds myself.If you´re interested in this soundpack 1 'MAGICAL' with 50 (!!!) new patches for the Arturia Polybrute, please send me an email (xu.sounddesign@gmx.net)."
