And a press release for PAMELA'S PRO WORKOUT FOR VCV RACK:

The ubiquitous clocked modulator Eurorack module Pamela’s PRO Workout is now available virtualised as a software plug in for VCV Rack - a free popular cross platform software based virtual modular synthesiser.

It’s array of must have clocking and modulation capabilities are now accessible from within VCV. Add a powerful essential tool to your VCV Rack or simply audition its feature set before acquiring the physical module.

VCV Pamela’s PRO Workout provides 8 highly editable outputs producing various control voltage signals, all correlated and synced to a BPM based master clock.

Each output can produce anything from simple clocked triggers to complex rhythmic waveforms, quanitsed melodic patterns or random chaos with many parameters controllable directly or via assigned external CV. These features, combined with a proven, easy to use and quick user interface provide almost limitless synced modulation possibilities in a tiny amount of space.

VCV Pamela's PRO Workout plugin runs the exact same core DSP and user interface code as the physical Eurorack module. It includes the

‘AXON-2’ CV expander and offers additional features such as support for multiple instances plus keyboard and mouse control shortcuts.

Available now from the VCV Rack Store for $20

Launched alongside VCV PAM PRO are two new freely available modules; the popular MCO & Pip Slope (mkII) both available now alongside a selection of other useful free ALM VCV modules:

• VCV Beast’s Chalkboard: Octave Switcher & More • VCV O/A/x2: Dual Offset & Attenuverter

• VCV Tangle Quartet: Quad Linear VCA & Mixer

• VCV MCO: Compact Digital VCO

• VCV Pip Slope (mk II): Compact Envelope Generator

Other software versions of popular ALM Busy Circuits modules are also available for VCV

Rack including:

VCV MFX: a compact stereo digital audio multi effects processor offering 16 different full

featured effects programs plus a number of metering utilities. Available now for $20

VCV Tyso Daiko: a dual 12-bit wavetable drum voice that features a wide ranging pitch sweep section, tilt EQ, digital wavefolder, unique surface control, and CV control over all parameters. Available now for $15"

POLYGOGO Stereo Oscillator - Sound Demo #2 - Eurorack Modular Synthesizer

Published on Dec 29, 2019 MIKE LEE BIRDS

"In the previous video I used the amazing POLYGOGO as sort of a drone/soundscape machine.

Here it‘s hooked up to the beautiful TUESDAY procedural sequencer from „This Is Not Rocket Science“.
The fold circuit serves as a VCA and is fed an envelope from MATHS. That same envelope goes into the OP (internal FM) Amount input for a quasi-sort-of-filter idea.

About the fold-VCA thing:
I noticed that feeding a negative voltage into the fold circuit and turning the attenuator to between 2 and 3 o‘clock will silence Polygogo. A positive voltage can then control the volume, hence Maths.
More clearly: Maths channel two is sending negative voltage (knob at 9 o’clock) through the sum output and channel one adds an envelope triggered by Tuesday.

- CHANCE changes polygons.
- MONSOON (Clouds) is responsible for reverb and adds pitch shifted delay later on.
- BEAST’S CHALKBOARD does some octave shifting off screen.
- PEAKS provides bass drum and hihats triggered by Tuesday’s beat and ticks outputs respectively. Sorry for the clipping bass drum.."

VCOADSR Piano Phase minus Piano - Bells N Whistles Crackles N Pops 2016

Published on Jul 9, 2017 DivKidVideo

"Here's VCOADSR live from Ross Lamond's Bells N Whistles Crackles N Pop event back from November 2016. Bit of a 'from the archives' vibe with this as I captured it all at the event (obviously) and then haven't had chance to get to it with other work taking priority but ... VCOADSR gave us a treat with his eurorack modular take on Piano Phase but minus the Piano.

His set up looks to include a TipTop Audio Circadian Rhythm, Orthogonal Devices ER101 and ER102 expander, Audio Damage ODIO, Pamela's Workout from ALM Busy Circuits, Humpback filter from GOD's BOX and WMD PDO, ALM Busy Circuits Beast's Chalkboard, Make Noise Pressure Points, TipTop Audio Z-DSP and the new Richie Hawtin DJ Mixer alongside the Elektron Analog Heat. There's also a 1U set of tile modules and a few others I can't see under the tightly packed and tidy cable work."

Dream Suite (pt 2) “Music For 18 Modules” from Bryan Noll on Vimeo.

“Manifestation Manual”

Dream Suite: Stages 1-2 (Dream / Will)

Performed live on a modular synthesizer.

Mixed in Ableton Live.

COMPOSITION NOTES

==================

Dream Suite: A Manifestation Manual

• Dream
• Will
• Expand
• Flourish
• Release

In the first two movements, we dream the dream then use our will to burn all obstacles on the path to manifestation. We complete the second stage exhausted, only to reemerge from the ashes in the third stage, reborn and ready to expand. The dream seed fuels our expansion as we flourish and learn how to let go.

Modular Jam #14 - Tying The System Together

Published on Aug 20, 2014 DivKidMusic

"Here's my latest modular jam, entirely on the modular and with a general feel of trying to create everything on the modular and tie the system together with something that could be a live / jam style piece.

Patch notes below and as always hit subscribe/like and fire away with any questions and/or comments.

PATCH NOTES

Kick - this was the Intellijel Dixie sine wave with one envelope from the Doepfer Quad ADSR going into the exponential on a Dixie Controller so I can adjust the depth of exp-FM and fine tune the depth and envelope shape. The Dixie's sine went into a uVCA II with a second envelope from the Doepfer Quad ADSR controlling the amplitude.

Snare - patch notes are rough on this one, my bad! - uLFO shaped sine wave with an envelope to FM to add a little pitch thump at the start into a Malekko VCA in exponential mode for a little saturation (the Malekko VCA has some nice saturation when up full with exponential mode selected) with tight envelope to create a short thump. This was mixed with some white noise into another VCA and then sent to the Doepfer A-199 spring reverb which is adjusted manually throughout the video.

Riff - Mutable Instruments Braids in sync mode provides the main riff with a sequence from the Make Noise Pressure Points and a Doepfer A-151 Sequential Switch to switch between sequence patterns. This goes into an ADDAC 207 Quantizer and then into a Manhattan Analog CVP for some glide before going to the ALM Beast's Chalkboard for octave control before Braids. Braids has modulation from a Frequency Central System X Sample & Hold provide timbre / colour movement on Braids. Braids goes out into a Malekko Borg 2 filter with the WMD Multi-Mode-Envelope providing modulation to the cut off in low pass gate mode. This part is rough but I think the AFG was mixed in with the Braids sound using the Erica Synths Tube Mixer. The sequence was sent into a Synthrotek EKO unit and then into the Doepfer A-189-1 Bit Modifier for live sample rate reduction."
