First Super Signal Processor Eurorack Module Ships
Via the Percussa Kickstarter where you'll find more pics. Note this one has a burgundy wine faceplate rather then the standard black we have seen up to this date, and it goes to Kuxaan-Sum, a backer of the Kickstarter campaign, who has been featured here on MATRIXSYNTH numerous times as well.
"Today was a special day - we shipped the first SSPs to 7 lucky backers :-) We shipped according the backer number starting with serial number one, low serial number and custom SSP tiers.
We'll send out an email with a tracking number this weekend to each of the backers we shipped. We'll also be posting some installation / release notes / getting started info.
We worked towards this moment for months, pushing several updates to the software over the past weeks such as the multi-channel recording capabilities of the SSP software.
Below you can see photos of our building process the past week as well as a sneak peak of the packaging. We'll leave the actual unboxing photos and videos to the backers :-)

Syn Sunday Preview Concert for Denver Open Doors with Mark Mosher and Kuxaan Sum
Published on Apr 28, 2017 Mark Mosher
"On Sunday, April 30th, 5 experimental music artists from Denver will perform Syn Sunday for the City of Denver's Open Doors event. We'll be playing outside under the glass of the MASSIVE Galleria dome at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Early one morning last week, Kuxaan Sum joined me in a mini preview set for the CBS 4 news crew. After the news crew left, we played on and recorded this as we were so inspired by the massive space of glass, metal and concrete and the AMAZING reverb characteristics. This is a some footage of our mini set.
Come on Sunday to see the full concert with:
Dane Terry: noon - 12.25
Victoria Lundy: 12:30 - 12:55
Mark Mosher: 1:00 - 1:25
Chris Frain: 1:30 - 1:55
Kuxaan Sum: 2:00 - 2: 25

Newtonian Random Rhythms
Published on Mar 9, 2017 kuxaan sum
"Rocky Mountain Synth Meetup Lightning Patch Walkthroughs
Newtonian Random Rhythms
This patch is based around the [ADDAC] 503 Marble Physics module which is a CV generator based on the mechanics behavior of a marble on a tray.
You can, by voltage control, tilt the plane or bump the marble with a certain strength, which will cause it to roll and bounce on elastic walls.
The module will output the object's XY position or velocity and you can control other physical parameters, like the walls' elasticity or the strength of a bump. When the marble hits walls the bounce outputs a trigger.
I am using the trigger out to randomize patterns in the Malekko Varigate8 in Random mode which seeds logical gates into the patterns.
I am using a 4ms Quad Clock Distributor module to control the Varigate8+ clock and using a divide by 16 to clock the marble physics bump feature to initiate bounce output.
The elasticity of the walls is being controlled by bipolar out of Noise Engineering SincIter which is being driven by the Voltage Block slaved to the Varigate8+.
The Freeze of Random seeding is controlled by the envelope out from SSF Entity (which is also receiving randomized trigs from the Varigate8+) module via an envelope follower.
The Xaoc Devices Batumi is controlling various parameters of the Marbe Physics module along with controlling the WMD Performance Mixer Volume/Pan level with help from the 4ms Pingable LFO which is slaved to the 4ms QCD."

"BeatStep Pro Controls WMD/SSF Monolith via CV/Gate/Velocity.
Each of two sequencers controlling a separate voice in the Monolith. I am taking mono outputs from each voice into two separate Strymon pedals.
One voice goes to the DIG and the other to the BigSky.
Each of these stereo outputs goes into a Mackie mixer panned hard right and left for each respective channel.
The patch makes use of every module that comes with the Monolith.
One voice is a combination of 4 waveforms into the blender module which then goes to the Pole-Zero and on the ADSRVCA.
The 2nd voice is also a combination of 4 waveform outputs (One of the waveforms goes to the Ultrafold) that are summed with the SPO whose output goes to the Switch in the Tool-Box and this output goes to the Amplitude which receives CV from the 2nd sequence gate into the 2nd ADSRVCA."
