via the seller: "Vintage Roland RS202 Strings & Brass Synthesizer. The vinyl covering is slightly worn but the front panel is very good and it's in excellent working condition. Complete with original music stand, which stows away neatly in the lid of the case. The original hinged cover on the bottom which houses the mains cable, was missing when I bought it, so I had a stainless steel one made and it does the job well. I've owned this for about 5 years and it's briefly toured with Peter Hook and The Light (see last pic), before I found an Arp Omni."

"Vintage arp 2600 with matching duophonic keyboard in wonderful condition both cosmetically and functionally. It's been well cared for its entire life. Comes with an array of patch cables, original power chord and the cable to connect the keyboard to the synthesizer. Pitch bend knob is not original and one slider cap is missing however the slider itself works perfectly..."

nonlinearcircuits BOOLs

Published on Jun 19, 2015 cirtcele

"This module is like a hybrid between the NLC quad logic module and the Sauce of Unce. There are 4 inputs driving chained logic gates (you can choose what logic you want - OR, NOR, AND, NAND, XOR or XNOR by the chip installed). There are 4 gate outputs giving the boolean logic result of the signals on inputs 1&2, 2&3, 3&4 and 4&1. A resistor ladder network gives the stepped output based on what these 4 outputs are doing. From this a S&H circuit with a slew processor gives a smooth output."

BOOLs 3

via nonlinearcircuits

"These are nice. The inputs can be any signal crossing 1V. The logic outputs give 5V gates that are all related to each other as made up of different input combinations. The S&H input can be a trigger, gate or CV. The stepped and slewed outputs an be very similar to what comes out of the Sauce of Unce or Buchla 265 SOU. The ICs are all thru-hole, resistors can be 1206 or 0805 smd. Pretty easy build, has 4 LEDs for blinkenlights.
Using different logic chips gives you some pretty different behaviour so it is worth having more than one of these. The XOR/XNOR chips cn be used as crude ring modulators at audio frequencies.

This is a great module for just patching in any spare outputs from LFOs, sequencers, ADSRs, etc and generating a whole bunch of gates and CVs that are sync'd with everything else going on in your patch.

Moog sub 37 and Waldorf Striechfett doodle: RECOVERY

Published on Jul 8, 2015 Howard Forton

"Recorded using a tascam portastudio. A basic idea while recovering from knee operation, ran out of patience teetering on the stool with my knee starting to swell. :-) I should have spent more time mixing the master tracks and putting a better polish on it. Also used a tc electronics M350 for the reverb and delay. 3 moog tracks. 1 waldorf track. Great fun which is what its all about for me. I love both the synths used here. Still cant decide on a decent drum machine though. Hated the korg volcabeats. Miss my Alesis SR18 which you can here on some of my older doodles."
