Roland TR-8 (909-mode) + OP4 1.1 (Ableton, Max4Live) Demo by Jordan Passmore

Published on Feb 22, 2016 Jordan Passmore

"This demo is of the Roland TR-8 Drum Machine (with the TR-909 kit loaded) and Ableton Live DAW (with OP4 Max4Live patches). Ableton Live is sending sync signal via USB to the TR-8 and the audio of the TR-8 is sent straight into my audio interface (Roland Super UA). The TR-8 is completely devoid of effects while the two instances of OP4 (a four operator FM-based Max4Live synth designed by Katsuhiro Chiba) is being ran through ValhallaDSP's UberMod (delay) and VintageVerb (reverb). One synth patch is the bassline, the other the melody. These three instruments were mixed in Ableton Live."

Replaced all electrolytic caps, common failure switching IC's and mods where needed to improve reliability.

This is becoming ONE HAPPY MOOG again!

Thanks for watching, really appreciate the support.

All the best,
Jareth"

Korg Arp Odyssey - FIRST 5 MINUTES - With Dan Haigh

Published on Jan 26, 2016 Dan Haigh

"Thankyou to KORG for sending me this awesome ARP Odyssey.

FIRST 5 MINUTES is a show where I unbox a new item and see what I can get out of it within the first 5 minutes. The idea is to give prospective owners a rough idea of what the item is like / capable of as quickly as possible.

'I Hope you find this useful is you're considering this synth - here's me recording an improvised piece from the first patches I was able to create after unboxing the synth..' - Dan Haigh"
