Hawkmoth "Puddle Poet"

Published on May 4, 2016 SGE

"Four voices in E Major. The first two heard are from the PerFourMer and have some analog chorus (JHS Emperor pedal) and some Moog drive from a MURF pedal, pinging around through a delay. The "pad" sound is from an EHX Superego pedal, modified to accept trigger CV's. It is triggered by a G8 clock divider (eurorack). Eventide Space 'blackhole' effect is used. Finally the high pitched voice is the microbrute sequenced by a Future Retro Orb, into a Roland RE-20 delay."

As the composition ascends, Julianna employs 2x Moogerfooger analog delays to imbue space, while adding layers of the Sub 37 & Mother-32 synthesizers.

Julianna's new album, Will, releases May 6th, 2016.

You can catch Julianna on tour later this summer, including a stop at Moogfest on May 21. For more info on Moofest visit, http://www.moogfest.com"

Beautiful music.

Tomorrow's World on sampling and MIDI with Midge Ure.MPG

Published on Mar 2, 2012 crgn

"From a very old VHS (1986/7?). The reasons I just had to upload it were: a) it has to be the inspiration for Look Around You's Synthesizer Patel; b) Midge Ure demonstrates the keytar by playing Stairway! There's a big jump in the middle as this is a cut-and-shut job."

Quick Demo of two Radio Music Modules

Published on May 4, 2016 Genshi Media Group

"Quick Demo of my two Radio Music modules custom made by Magpie Modular, and loaded with my own original samples. The top, silver Radio Music is running the vocal samples, and the bottom black Radio Music is running the single chord sustained piano samples mixed with buzzing firefly sounds (the second half of the video the samples are bits of electrical radio glitches.) Both modules are being processed by Mutable Instruments Clouds."

Kilpatrick Audio - Superbooth16

Published on May 4, 2016 DivKidVideo

"It was great to meet Andrew Kilpatrick and have him take us through the new sequencer which looks killer. Ok it's not modular, but it integrates perfectly and I think having that and maybe a 6U / 12U system for performance would be ace!"
