"End Titles" TB-303 Riff on x0xb0x (Tron Soundtrack cover)

Published on Feb 16, 2017 zbr_audio

"One take attempt at playing the riff from Daft Punk’s End Titles on x0xb0x with some mods(z0xb0x)
Lower left are the decay times for VCA, on the right thers ENV Attack mod.

I wanted to go through some of the distortions but accidentally pressed space by the end and this was meant as a one take excersice.

A little bit of reverb added in live for space, otherwise no processing, and clearly no plan of action

Notes are from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvAYV...
with some tiny edits. Unfortunately I coulnd't find the MID file anywhere so I just copied into Live by hand.

if anyone needs them, i've upped them here

Akai Tom Cat vs Arturia Drumbrute

Published on Feb 15, 2017 HardtekStudios

You can see when the Tom Cat triggers by the flashing pad.

"In this analog Drum Machine face-off, we have the Akai Tom Cat against the big news new comer; the Arturia Drumbrute. Peak levels have been matched with appropriate room for gain during tweaking of the drum parameters. The Tomcat will play a pattern for one bar then the Drumbrute will play the same pattern for one bar and repeat as I tweak parameters to give you a fair representation of the range of sound passible by each drum machine. I cannot cover every aspect of each due to time and inconsistencies in the different drum machines. Have fun watching and use it as one of many tools to help you gauge which analog beat box is best suited for your studio."

Enigmatic!

"An Enigma Sadeness-inspired tunage using Roland TR-909, JD-990, W-30, and the Vatican.va website.
A quick note just to make sure, as an FYI - Enigma didn't use these machines exactly (the JD-990 wasn't even out at that time), but yes, the construction of the song was probably somewhat similar ;-) It's just a silly tribute to a song and album that I really loved (and still do) - All kudos goes to the magical Michael Cretu!"

Levity Revisited

Published on Feb 15, 2017 Oxix52

"Here, I revisit the sequence from my other video Stranded Thoughts of Levity-[posted here]. This time, I am using the 261e and the 208 from the Music Easel as the sound sources. The sequence is not exactly the same, but close enough. The 261e is panned left and the 208 is panned right. The sine from the 261e is going through the 285e and is center panned. I like the sound, but I think the 259 has a sweeter tone."
