"A demo/example of how to incorporate an alternative filter with your Minibrute 2, in this case a Eurorack modular VCF - Mutable Instruments Ripples. Not a musical piece, just an audio example. Turn on Subtitles for a step-by-step explanation, and see the end of the description for patch notes.

There is much more you can do with this kind of setup, especially with the Brute's patch bay, and more so with the Minibrute 2s, but this was just an experiment really - I always wondered what my old Minibrute SE would sound like through a Roland-style filter. Ripples isn't necessarily the closest filter I have to that style, but it's popular, so I thought it might be useful to more people as a point of reference.

Meng Qi Karp And Detroit Underground DU-KRPLS Karplus Strong Modules

"Meng Qi has two Karplus Stong digital waveguide eurorack modules, the Karp (https://www.perfectcircuit.com/meng-q...) which has an agressive glitchy sound, or the Detroit Underground collaboration version DU-KRPLS (https://www.perfectcircuit.com/meng-q...) which has a unique circuit bent sound. These modules are great for percussion and sound effects, but can also produce weird melodies. In this video the Malekko Varigate 4+ sequences everything and additional drum sounds come from the SSF Entity Percussion Synthesizer and Dave Smith Instruments Feedback module."
