Stylophone Gen X-1 | Portable Analog Synth | Overview + Demo

Published on Jun 10, 2019 littleBIGsynths

"Dubreq Stylophone Gen X-1 Overview & sound demo

Hey guys! I recently acquired a Stylophone Gen X-1. I've always wanted to play an original stylophone, but this newer version seems so much more flexible and "useable". With the addition of a 2 wave LFO, resonant low pass filter, envelope generator, and other synth controls, the Gen X-1 takes the Stylophone to another level. 😉 This thing totally packs a lot of synth in a small, inexpensive package."

Instruo Cs-L wavefolding

Published on Jun 10, 2019 Associative

"Rougher side of Instruo Cs-L. I've internally routed both oscillators to modulate the opposite oscillator's symmetry bias offset and wavefolding depth, and summed two FINAL outputs. Bit of FM and sync in the mix as well."

Kickall-Befaco as a synth Voice

Published on Jun 10, 2019 Dziam Bass

"Hello Guys.
I have a new movie today using the Befaco-Kikall module but a little bit of the other side when it is not used as a kick but as a synth Voice.
A little fun also with a reverb and a combined voice kick, some fx and a random melody.
Kickall is a powerful tool for many sounds, its large aperture is only 6 HP in size, so it saves a lot of space and you can do a lot of interesting things with it.
jets here 7 small parts so you can see how nicely it plays in a few of them but you can evaluate it yourself.
more information about the Befaco modules here https://www.befaco.org/en/ and also each module can be purchased in the DIY version."

Earthquaker Devices Pyramids & Avalanche Run V2 With Deckard's Dream & Granmother

Published on Jun 10, 2019 Perfect Circuit

"Cory from Earthquaker Devices came by our shop to show us some of the awesome sounds of their pedals. All of their pedals handle synthesizers as well as they do guitars and to show that he played two of their pedals, the Pyramid which is a flanger with multiple different modes and presets and the Avalanche Run V2 which is a delay and reverb with tap tempo. Both of these pedals are also stereo.

We ran two synthesizers through the pedals, first the Black Corporation Deckard's Dream which is an amazing polysynth with a classic CS-80 style sound. In the second part of the video we used Moog's Grandmother for an arpeggiated synth line."

Korg Polysix synthesizer review

Published on Jun 10, 2019 Frank Jacobs

"One of the first affordable, polyphonic synthesizers with memory was the Korg Polysix. It soon got ousted by the Roland Juno 60, but even today, 38 years after its birth, it still is an instrument with a character of its own. A short walk through its presets and functions."

FANTASTIC RAREST VINTAGE SOVIET ANALOG 3-VCO MONOPHONIC SYNTHESIZER (THE QUEEN OF SOVIET SYNTHS)

AELITA is a 3-oscillator monophonic synthesizer with 44 keys, produced by the Murom radio plant in USSR in eighties. The device is housed in a strong aluminum body. Sound control is performed with handy faders and buttons. The synth has really impressive analog sound - it is convenient for modeling of fat analog basses, classic rock leads, hard razor waves, various space FX`s, noises, ambient textures and much more... It is able to form both hard and soft timbres. By activating the UNISON function, the number of simultaneously sounding voices may be 5 or 6. Because you can detune the three independent oscillators, it is possible to create "one finger chord hits".
