RAW FAT BASS | Sound Of The Day - itijik Pro Club SOTD 012220

Published on Jan 22, 2020 itijik

"Here's a preview of some raw bass tones I captured from the Moog Little Phatty. I've never layered bass tones to this degree before so I made a 'Bass Scape' too. Not bad with a just little treatment. love the texture. I wanna explore this more in the future.

Novation PEAK \ Roland JP-8000 \ MoPho \ Radias \ SH-01A \ Digitone \ A.Four | Rosalind

Published on Jan 22, 2020 Alba Ecstasy

"Our space journey continues: Rosalind is an inner satellite of Uranus and we're just passing by! Hold on!
Meanwhile, grab some patches: https://www.albaecstasy.ro

Starting with a sequence from #RolandJP8000 (was already started), sustained by a drone of the #NovationPEAK, in short time. #Digitone and Radias comes too with some pads, later the Roland SH-01A and the Analog Four mkII comes with some sequences. MoPho comes with the lead. And that's the team!
Some delay and reverb from Waved H-Delay and Eventide Blackhole - both VSTs.

New Morphagene Firmware!

Published on Jan 21, 2020 MAKEN0ISE

"Change Log for mg203

1. New options added. They are on the “options.txt” file which is found on the root directory of any microSD card that has been mounted in a Morphagene. See the MG155 changelog on page 34 of the manual for more information on this file.

The new options mcr1, mcr2, and mcr3 allow user-definable Morph Chord Ratios (detuning of 2nd through 4th Genes with Morph at its highest settings). Historical settings have been 2.00000 (+1 octave), 3.00000 (+1 octave & 5th), and 4.0000 (+2 octaves). Now you can set any ratio from 0.06250 (-4 octaves) to 16.00000 (+4 octaves). Ratios are accurate to five decimals. You can also make one or more individual Genes play in reverse with this setting by using negative numbers. A value of 1.00000 results in unison (no detuning). A list of 12-TET ratios is provided as comments in the text file for easy copy/paste.

2. The Auto-level procedure has been replaced with an improved input gain staging, accessed with a 4-step gain selection (blue-green-orange- purple). To use, Hold Record, and Press Shift to step through the gain settings: Blue: low -3db, Green: modular level, Orange: medium +6db, Purple: high +12db.

3. Playback gain is reverted to pre-mg157 level to improve TLA and Record-Into-New-Splice functions.

4. Internal processing improved to work with (2) and (3) to significantly improve signal-to-noise ratio on input and playback.

5. Minor bug fixes."

Ensoniq MrRack Expansion 3in1

Published on Jan 21, 2020 No Nag Recordings

"In this video I show how to upgrade and connect your MrRack with the 3in1 expansion from DXP. It's a quick process and you gain a lot. You get exp boards 1, 3 and 4 and they all sound great with drums, transwave pads and leads, pianos. You also get a fair amount of patches.

The song here is recorded with sound straight out of the box, no add on FX or EQ. And remember it's only a sound demo, nothing else :D

"This bundle includes a custom modified Gameboy Pocket MGB-001 with blue backlight mod and rechargeable battery and one LSDJ cart.

Everything works great. Gameboy shows some cosmetic wear as pictured, but the screen is nice and clean and free from all but superficial scratches. The speaker still works.

LSDJ cart works great (version 5.3.5)."

"I took the graphic sticker off the unit; the person that built it put the buttons on OVER the sticker, so as you can see from the pictures, there is some slight residue, which can be cleaned up if you desire. I put a fun little 1-UP mushroom on the side."

The synth on the right looks like a blue Synton Syrinx in a custom case.

Update: according to M Me it's a "Korg 800DV and the panel glow is due to reflection of light." That and the angle makes it looks shorter.
