09- The Baldwin Fun Machine-Rhythm Section pt. 1

video upload by AutomaticGainsay

"Here is part 1 of a two-part exploration of the accompaniment functionality of the Baldwin Fun Machine."

Pure 💧 (Moog - Matriarch // Waldorf - M) - sequenced by the Matriarch's SEQ, no external FX.

video upload by 2-Minute Warning

"Do these 2 astounding synths need external effects to sound good? Let's hear the pure sound of the Moog - Matriarch and Waldorf - M! (some EQ/comp were used only for mixing purposes).

I used the Matriarch's internal sequencer to trigger the M which was playing in its 4-part multi-timbral mode. I faded in each of the parts (1 of the 4 parts also had the M's arpeggiator active on it).
I also used the Matriarch's internal analog stereo delay, which was modulated by 1 of the Matriarch's LFO as seen by the patching on the video."

"SCI Prophet 5 rev3.3 with factory MIDI and 120 memory slots. It's of course fully working and sounds amazing. Also it's in mint condition. Almost like factory new (see images). Original manual is included."

Daybreak by Audio Illustrator

via supporting member, James Newman, aka Audio Illustrator.

"A new track for a new album.

Daybreak is the 1st song on a new album I am currently working on called "Illumination in the Final Dark Age".

I'm mixing elements and styles of Pink Floyd with Medieval instruments and some orchestral textures thrown in to see what comes out this time. :)

I hope you enjoy it. PS...No Behringer Model D was harmed in the making of this production...only well used! :)"

Andromeda A6 Free Sounds No talking

video upload by David Bessell

"10 free sounds from my personal collection. Go here to download the Sysex files.

Midi Ox will work to load them into the A6. The sounds make creative use of the A6 gain structure so the levels vary quite a bit. I haven't normalised them in this video so you hear exactly what you get. Usually I avoid the inbuilt FX but not entirely. Most of the patches would benefit from suitable external FX. (I add Eventide Space when I'm using them in a track). I sometimes use the aux outs as well as the main outs so if any of the patches make no sound check the output assignments. You can hear these and other sounds on the A6 being used in a more musical context on my DiN and Groove Unlimited releases. Have a nice day. db
