"Super fun first play with the Herzlich Labs https://www.etsy.com/shop/HerzlichLab... MAXIMA touch controller, interfacing with Ieaskul F Mobenthey modules (Fourses, Denum, Denum, Sprott).

It's a really fun controller that works particularly well with the BOUNDS inputs on many IFM modules. It's housed in a custom (3D printed?) case, it's very fun to use, and I don't understand how an unpowered controller can even do what this one does, but there you are."

"The MMI Maxima is the final word in MMI technology. Beautiful gold patterns form gradients of touch sensitive surface areas, each connected to an input/output. Drag, rub, pinch or tap your fingers across to form connections, and create evocative and unique performances. Utilize the various pattern densities and shapes in your performance, or create installations with whatever conductive material is to hand.

Operation is easy: simply plug any audio, LFO, CV, trigger, gate, offset or clock into any of the inputs on the front panel, and connect one or several outputs to destinations in your system. The symbols near the sockets correspond to the shapes on the panel, and all that remains is for you to form the connection between the desired symbols with your hand, or any other conductive object you may have. Connect multiple at the same time to achieve liquid, gradual mixing, evolving rhythmic patterns, mixed LFOs and more. Furthermore, touch the pressure plates more firmly or in more dense areas to form stronger connections - in practice, this means a signal will pass with more or less intensity, based on the pressure you apply."

You can find demos in previous posts here. There was also a rectangular blue model of the Notron.

"Incredibly rare: one of only about 150 of these made in the UK. As much an instrument as a sequencer, notable users include Björk and Howie B.

Tested and working well after a light service of the controls. Ready to ship.

This is actually the second one of these we’ve had our hands on as we also sold one that had previously belonged to Human League." [posted here]

Very good cosmetic conditions, have some minor black spot on metal face ( not so easy to see) Big kenton Midi kit installed in 2019. The VP330 Will be professionaly checked after recording session in the end of December."

KadImprov #8 - Above the City - #CasioSK1 - #MoogMother-32 - #ProphetRev2 - #Syntrx

video upload by KadiMusic

"Welcome to #KadImprov Sessions #8: 'Above the city'

I envisioned a flight above a megacity while making this track. Sounds illustrating the vibes and rhythms in the different areas of a techno dystopian metropolis.

For this track I used the #CasioSK1 filtered with the Electro-Harmonix Frequency Analyzer and the #ProphetRev2 on the main chords. I played the arpeggio pattern on the Moog #Mother-32. The drone sound design was made on the #Syntrx."

Lo-Fi Debussy Clar De Lune with Tascam Portastudio 424 and Make Noise Strega

video upload by riotbell

"This is just a simple short piece using the Strega to process Debussy on incoming tape from the Tascam Portastudio 424.

Recorded the Debussy on an old Hammond piano from the mid 1950s that's partially out of tune and has some serious key bed issues (built in lo-fi character I suppose).

When the Strega was first released I was really interested at how it would function as a processor of other instruments. It's surprisingly good at processing a variety of incoming signals. The filter and the delay can add a lot of character, though I wish there was some way to trigger the oscillator.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings on the Strega as a whole. It does some things incredibly well, but lacks a couple of basic features (like Midi) that would really open up the possibilities. Meanwhile, as much as I want to like the touch plates, they feel a bit like gimmicky overkill considering all the patch points (hope I'm wrong about this).

I might do a spoken review if folks are interested. I'm kicking around the idea of making spoken reviews and tutorials a bigger part of this channel, but haven't had as much free time as earlier in the year.

Thanks for listening."
