"What makes this a bit different and more special than the run of the mill JP-6 is that I had purchased this off a fellow synth junky and mad scientist who had done a resonance mod to the VCF, which basically stops the filter bass frequencies from getting dropped so much when resonance increases. In the general sense, it sounds a lot better. It doesn't change the character of the filter at all, aside from stopping it from getting wheezy when even the slightest bit of resonance is added. I've had a lot of folks who sold their JP-6 come over to the studio and say that they don't remember theirs ever 'sounding that good'."

"The king of synthesizers. Original Moog Minimoog, I believe this is from 1974. Used sparingly in smoke-free / pet-free studio.
Professionally refurbished / gone through in May 2021, the tech replaced the old frail cable/plug with a modern standard IEC power jack in the back, replaced a transistor and checked all operations. All the rest was good.
Everything works great on it and of course it sounds absolutely huge, fat, analog and glorious."

"This is a true classic from Waldorf. It's known as possibly the best VA synth ever made (kills the MS2000, JP8000, etc etc) but also has those classic German wavetables for that PPG style. Multiple filters, egs, etc etc. 4 part multi-timbral. It can do so much but I have too much stuff and more on the way so this has to go. The original Q was a terrible, bright yellow monstrosity but this is the beautiful, rare version that is now known as the Halloween version."

"Drawing from the earliest days of polyphonic synthesizers, Sound Bank ‘79 for the Cherry Audio Memorymode finds its inspiration in synthesizer music found in documentaries and library music from the late 70’s and early 80’s.
A bank comprising 40 patches for instant inspiration. The goal was to squeeze as much vintage analog juice out of this plug-in as possible, primarily working within the constraints of the original Moog Memorymoog analog poly synth. There's a unique richness to the sound of a Memorymoog, along with it's expanded feature set, and Cherry Audio have definitely captured that.
Sound Bank '79 is a series of vintage tones for different synths and plug-ins, so look out for future releases. Recorded completely dry with no external effects or processing.
