Thought it was interesting seeing the Sequential Circuits Inc. perfectly aligned in the shot as Sequential now makes the OB-X8 with Oberheim.

"This is a one owner Oberheim OB-8 with factory MIDI and Road Case (circa 1985/6) in good used condition. Purchased new from Swing City Music (St. Louis area). Road case needs new foam interior.

This OB-8 has not seen much playing since the early-90s and has lived in a climate controlled home studio environment since. Sounds Bad-Ass and Amazingly HUGE!!!

This belonged to my Uncle who is no longer with us. To the best of my knowledge it is all original. So, having it serviced is recommended due to the age of the capacitors, and components. Everything does seem to work and the only things worth mentioning are a couple red led lights on switches don't illuminate (switch does work), and one or two potentiometers should probably be replaced or rebuilt."

You can find a demo of one previously posted here.

"An amazing and very rare Italian string machine/keyboard from the late 1970's.

It has the ability to separately process the Violin and Viola sections from the Piano and Harpsichord sounds. I tend to put a chorus and reverb on the strings and a delay on the percussive sounds...for amazing results.

This keyboard is in excellent shape considering that it is 44 years old. I just cleaned all of the slider pots and the internal circuits. In gorgeous shape for a mid-aged instrument.

I recently replaced/repaired the slider for the string sections sustain control. I couldn't find an exact match, but did my best."

Video in the listing previously posted here.

"The EH-0300 was released in the late 70's by Electro Harmoinx. It filters 14 seperate bands of speech input rectifying the resulting audio signals, and using these DC levels to set the gain on a second matched array of 14 filters which control the harmonic content of the music input.

Electro Harmonix recommend that the best kind of microphone to use with this unit are medium to high impedance 600+ ohms dynamic microphones. The music input accepts any electric or electronic instrument, as well as line level signals.

Check out the video link. A test drive how the unit operates and sounds with synthesizer and microphone. I immediately thought of the song "Sheep" from Pink Floyd Animals album."

"Power section and chorus board fully recapped, brand new battery, factory presets loaded, faders and keybed cleaned. Tape Verify button was non-functioning, replaced with an OEM switch from Rosen Sound.

Overall the unit is in great shape with only one minor blemish on the sideboard. Chorus is clean and strong, no white noise. Preset bank 1 button sometimes needs a bit of a hard push but every other button is working great. Missing the dust covers on a couple switches, as well as a couple exterior screws. Comes with an anvil hard case."

Country Life | AtoV #Gaeto, After Later Audio #Atom - #jamuary2024 Day 15

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"It's the dreaded day 15 and we're almost half way on this creative journey where nothing is planned and tomorrow is uncertain. But today turned out a really good day.

I wrote a Teletype script two years ago, that was able to extract gate patterns from any CV source. Higher CV would lead to more percussive events.
But I don't see much people writing code for the modular.

So I was hoping that AtoV Gaeto would do the same, but the implementation is a bit different. It expects a shape between 0 and 1 V which is way less than regular utilities will provide, so you'd need to attenuate the hell out of your CV. It also offers some cool gate logic which can be useful for both trigger patterns as square/pulse waves. I've been a bit disappointed because I was hoping it would work like my script. But it's a cool module on its own. I made a few beats, but then realized I was missing something meloduc. I tried ALA Atom again, which is supposed to be an NI Elements clone, but no. It's an ATOM. And it's a bit different. But in the best way possible. I am just using gates to play it, and manual tweaking to make chords."

"Afternoon session with Fenix II & III, Ace Tone Rhythm Ace FR-6, Waldorf Q.
To make it sound better I'd need to spend way more time on this patch, at least to mix the different voices properly, make a decent beat, play some notes by hand and so on, but I can't because of my health, so I'm posting this here and now."
