I remember when these vids came up before. I didn't put them up because they were not about synths. I figure if I put up oscilloscope posts, I might as well put up these. Enjoy.

Acid in my house - Revealed
YouTube via darenager.
The answer to this post.
"Here's the answer to my earlier video, I used Microbe and Bhaji's Loops by Chocopoolp software. These two excellent pieces of sortware run on Palm OS5 PDA's, you can find more info at www.chocopoolp.com
I started with Microbe to create the groove then exported it into Bhaji's Loops, I added a vocal "keep it acid" using the PDA's built in mic, then just messed about with it. This example does not use anywhere near the full potential of Bhaji's Loops, it's just me arsing about, I will do a proper version of it and upload later.
No other fx or editing was used, just recorded straight into my computer.
:) Keep it acid!"

The Performance Music Systems Syntar

Click here for a post Carbon111 just put up on The Performance Music Systems Syntar, on Synthwire. Realize, this was the first Keytar ever, BEFORE the MOOG Liberation. There's a shot of Bob Moog and a younger George Mattson, creator of the Syntar, showing Bob the syntar at NAMM. Seriously, check this out. It's a fascinating bit of synth history. I was fortunate enough to play the Syntar and it is a very nice sounding synth with some extremely expressive and versatile controls on the neck. This is a very rare and unique synth along with the SWAN (more info on Carbon111's site). Hmm... I think I actaully took this shot. As always check out previous posts via the MORE tags below each post.
