"I was a founding member of an obscure synth pop band formed in Chicago in 1981 called 'Scarlet Architect,' which lasted only about a year and a half. During that time, we put out a single vinyl EP with four songs, which is fairly hard to find. Only 1,000 copies of the EP were ever pressed. This machine was used on that EP. We also recorded a handful of unreleased songs using this machine. In synth pop music circles, two of the songs from the EP are sort of well known - "Rose Grey" and "Falls Away." "Rose Grey" made it to No. 1 on a dance club music chart for a short stay in 1982. We also used this machine when we played live, and triggered a Roland TB-303 and a Sequential Circuits Pro-1 from it."
