Update via brian in the comments: "A TOM w/o cartridges is like half a dish of ice cream - this drum machine has 16 sound voixe slots but only 8 are populated on the main board - the cartrides round it out ...... what's really cool is that each voice can be pitched up 16 steps and down 16 steps and reversed so there are 16X32X2 voices or 1024 sounds in the device - and the coolest part is you can sweep the pitch with MIDI making it sound like you have 32 TUNED toms in you kit ...you can also goose the sequencer memory from 8K to 32K by populating 3 memory sockets which will yield well over a thousand sequencer steps ...my latest fun with the TOM is using AD Tattoo to sequence it ...nice combination"

I recorded the pattern into Logic, played some Blofeld synth over it and dubbed this over the video.

There is a LFO sync on/off switch, as well as a S&H/Ext. in mix knob.
On the back are CV in & out, trig in & out, and gate in & out. These are 1/8" jacks.
Also, an external in is provided! This is a 1/4" jack."

"This is a simple 1-oscillator synth based on "virtual circuit-bending". The initial idea started out as an attempt at making a bass synth version of the APC synth. It turned out to be impossible to get it to track pitch at all, so more experimentation ensued, and this is the result. It does track pitch, but often sounds will change across the keyboard or possibly even stop making sound at a certain key.

Some of the ideas used here will doubtless be put to use in a larger multi-osc synth, though whether an expanded version of this exact synth will be developed remains to be seen."
