Sequential Prophet-10 - All Playing, No Talking

video upload by Kraft Music

"Find exclusive Sequential Prophet-10 BUNDLES at Kraft Music:

Adam Berzowski explores the desert landscapes of the synths of summer with his companion for this journey, the beautiful and incredible Sequential Prophet-10 analog synthesizer in the Kraft Music studio.

Sequential Prophet-10 is part of Dave Smith's timely return to the analog polysynth that changed the world. It's a 10-voice synth that embodies all three revisions of the legendary Prophet-5 — Rev1, Rev2 and Rev3 — through the use of genuine Curtis analog VCOs and filters (as in the Rev3) as well as new 2140 low-pass filters designed by Dave Rossum to be like his 2040 filters found in original Rev1 and Rev2. A Rev switch lets you choose between the two filter designs. The result is as pure a renewal of an analog classic as you could wish for, with the authentic, muscular sound of the original and the roadworthiness of a state-of-the-art modern instrument.

Get more for your money with an exclusive Dave Smith Instruments Sequential Prophet-10 polyphonic analog synthesizer bundle from Kraft Music. These package deals include the accessories you'll need to get the most out of your new synth - at home, on stage, or in the studio. If you have any questions, please contact us. Our knowledgeable sales advisors will be happy to assist in choosing the bundle that's right for you!"

3am - Cascadence

video upload by justin3am

"A stomping jam featuring eurorack modular and such.
At the center of this patch is the Cascade Register from Omiindustriies, providing the main clock as well as distributing CV and triggering events.
Sounds from Synth Fox Modular's Degenrator, Pulsar-23, Infernal Noise Machine, etc.

I kinda dig this blurry arms vibe."

Sunday Morning Mort aka Early experiments with Mutable Beads

video upload by Peter Grenader

"This is a lively Sunday morning jaunt with my newly acquired Beads... which, as silly as this may be, is offscreen in this video.

I know, lame.

Hear me out! The Mutable Beads is currently kicking the crap out of me. I have no idea of it's capabilities. It's all hunt and peck at this point. In one of those experiments, i noticed by putting a metric rhythm patch through it and syncing the Seed input with the same clock that's driving the patch that it would, magically, double the frequency of whatever it's processing.

This immediately reminded me of a certain passage Mort Subotnick is famous for, so i ginned up a quicky sonic xerox. This all came about after i produced a demo of what 'real' lowpass gates can do, which hearkened back my percussive motif fetish that dominated my piece The Secret Life of Semiconductors (search 'Peter Grenader Secret Life" on apple music or bandcamp if curious).

Everything you hear is being gated through vactrol-based LPGs, namely the Plan B Model 13 Timbral Gate. The first voice is from a Flame 4 Vox in which i cycle through a few of it's wavetables. The second voice is it's manifestation via the Mutable Beads in which i am controlling the wet/dry mix via Plan B Model 24 wiggly random voltage. The third voice is via a Plan B Model 15 which is getting it's pacing from Malekko Varigate 4.

Panning courtesy of an EAR Model 7 Panner, driven by a second wiggly random via a second Plan B Model 24

The first and third voices are being driven by two Plan B Model 10 EGs to both open the LPG and thwap the VCO frequencies.

As i sidenote, i think Apple finally chased all the demons out of iMovie. It does not piss me off anywhere near as much now.

enjoy, or not!"

METAL DOGS - Fatal Nemesis (宿敵arrange) / (synthesizer & PianoCover)by ELFI Kaya

video upload by ELFI Kaya 【OFFICIAL】

"Instruments: Roland JUPITER-50, Roland JD-Xi

Googlish: "I played Fatal Nemesis, which I arranged, from the Switch / PS4 / PC game "Metal Docks" released by KADOKAWA GAMES / 24frame. This is an arranged version of the familiar "nemesis" of Metal Max.
This JD-Xi is the first synth I bought when I started working as ELFI.
I used to use it as a vocabulary, but this time I played a solo.
The JUPITER-50 is my favorite instrument that I always use in music production."

Korg Modwave // 6 Things You May Not Know (even after watching all the reviews)

video upload by Starsky Carr

"The Korg Modwave has been out for a while now, and after watching all the reviews and demos out there it still shocked me. It's much more than I realised. Its a super flexible wavetable synth, a virtual analog, amazing little touches everywhere especially on the modulation.

So if you've been looking at this hopefully there's a smidgen more info out there now :)"

Expanding the MiniMod Part 1 - Adding a 2nd Voice in just 2 or 3 modules (AJH Synth Eurorack tips)

video upload by AJH Synth Official

"If you have an AJH Synth MiniMod Eurorack system you might be wondering which modules to add next. We often get asked for advice about this, and of course It depends on what you wish to achieve musically, but we'll be uploading some video suggestions, starting by adding a second voice with just 2 or 3 modules.
Creating a second voice means having a second monosynth, so that your modular synth can then function as two substantial, separate analogue synths in one case. As the MiniMod comprises 3 VCO's as standard, adding an addition filter and VCA already makes this possible, but then adding the RING SM provides the potential for two, very big-sounding classic synthesiser sounds in one place, with one power supply, and minimal space. At the same time, as you're adding different modules to those you already have, it also hugely expands your sonic possibilities when using the system as a single synth, with vintage ring modulator, wave folder (Sonic XV), also Minimoog-style overdrive and switching mixer to mute or enable signals."
