Borsini Nostalgic Accordion 'Lars Ek' w/ MIDI & Ketron XD3

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

"Lars Ek Nostalgic games are mostly hand built. Lars Ek Nostalgics staircase keyboard prevents the depressed button from reaching the level of the external button row. A very important detail. The cut carvings on the back of the lid open the game and give Lars Ek Nostalgic its big powerful tone. The secret behind Ranar Sundqvists fantastic bellows technology is the straight edges and the deep bellows. The Synthesizer is an Ketron XD9/XD3. A manual is attached.

- 4-körig
- Tremolo-straight mood
- 1 treble register
- 1 base register
- 5 heavy bass
- Extremely fine handmade tuners
- Weight: 9.5 kilos
- Bellow dimensions: 45x18.5 cm
- The games are numbered
- Bag, straps, certificates are included with every accordion.
- All the decor throughout the game is handmade."

Ketron SD4 Tabletop Synthesizer Midi Sound Module w/ Original Box

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Ketron manufacturer description:
The Ketron SD4 is a pocket sized sound module designed for all PC and MIDI applications. The module is equipped with a new, powerful sound engine including a Professional Grand Piano sample (across 88 notes), huge orchestral and beautiful voices such as Saxophones, Brass, Woodwinds, Guitars, accordions, organ digital drawbars and many others. The quality of sound is what we have come to expect of Ketron (Best Natural Sound) making it ideal for use in Studio and Professional applications.
Ketron SD4 was released in 2008. It is a music module that will provide an easy workflow, and will welcome the user into a new sound space. The front part of the device is divided into several sections: at the top there are panel presets, just below there’s the 3-digit led display and 2 groups of buttons for monitoring.

The first section is a digital panel for selecting patches, and the second section with buttons is intended for configuring presets and menus navigation.

In a multi-timbral mode, SD4 works with GM-banks (128 patches) which sound quite realistic. There are 4 bank instruments and 32 drums. The first 3 GM-banks offer different voices. A separate 4th bank is derived from GM. Several buttons on the control panel are used to program the presets.

Panel voices can contain up to 3 layers, where each layer represents one sound from the GM bank. In some samples the performance is composed in a similar manner. In addition, two effect processors can be used to make the sound complete: reverb, chorus, distortion, delay and Leslie effect."

Audio Loops and New Sounds

In addition to standard General MIDI sounds, the SD1000 contains other sound banks with many conventional families such as Pianos, Strings, Sax, Brass, etc. The top feature of the SD1000 compared to other sound modules is the large number of audio loops and drum loops which can be downloaded free of charge at www.ketron.it.

FULLY ANALOG SYNTHESIZERS EVENING FUN

YouTube via mancio1
"A short improv starring chained analog machine.
The Styx (SoundMaster) 305 drum machine is gating the korg MS20 that is controlling the GATE of the MFB Kraftzwerg (re-housed in a low cost koffer form doepfer, along with some other modules. A single note is playing. KaossPad3 used to mangle the drum machine only.
A couple chords are coming from a Solton/Ketron PROJECT100. At the end i show you one of my DIY projects, a 8/16 step sequencer (analog AND midi). Coming soon.
Shot with an Aiptek SD camera (DVD quality).
Sorry for the audio quality and the noises coming from the (sloppy) handling.

ENJOYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ketron Solton Programmer 24 S - Arranger Keyboard

YouTube via zibbybone

"This crappy video is just a basic run-through of what works and doesn't work (to my knowledge) of this item that I am selling. Auction includes keyboard, bass pedal board and volume pedal. Several keys do not trigger (this is usually an easy fix). As for other functions, you're on your own. The strings sound quite nice, very reminescent of the ARP/Solina String Ensemble."
I'm not seeing it listed yet.

Solton MS40 Midi Synthesizer Module

via this auction

Note the Video Interface and it's actually Solton by KETRON lab

You can find some prior KETRON posts here. I also updated all Soton and Ketron posts to have both labels.

Details: "This is a fantastic sounding professional general midi synthesizer, that is an arranger module. It can be played by connecting it to a general midi controller such as a keyboard or midi guitar, or by your feet, using the midi bass pedals and programmable foot switches, or a combination of all of these methods. It is the perfect set up for a guitarist, pianist, accordionist or vocalist, professional or amatuer, for a one man orchestra. It plays styles, which are musical arrangements, which repeat or loop. It has 99 built in styles. Each style has 4 variations, 2 intro’s , 2 endings, and 3 fills and can be edited and saved to disk. It has Ram to accept up to 13 additional user styles. It has 256 voices, in 2 banks of voices plus another bank for user voices. It also plays midi files. The complete features are available on jpg files. [link]"

The Kraftzwerg from MFB and More via Davide

via Davide: "The Kraftzwerg from MFB, a pre-patched but completely re-patchable mono analog beast (3 osc, a beautiful double LFO and a very nice sounding 24db VCF). The Kraftzwerg is REALLY the assembly of the modules from MFB so you are not going to loose any of the modulation possibilities.

The beautifully cheap Eurorack cabinet (or better… naked rails and cheeks!) from MFB (with power supply and midi to cv interface) and some intriguing doepfer modules.

A-118 Noise/Random, a beautiful kaos generator. There is a variable rate random voltage suitable for modulating anything in a non predictable but smooth way. Oh, and a couple of audio noise output.

A-132 Double VCA. I’m gonna use this.

A-124 WASP filter. Very nice sounding cheap filter. I bought this to have an High Pass and Band Pass to complement the very good LPF of the Kraftzwerg.

A189-1 Voltage controllable BIT CRUNCHER / MODIFIER. The name says it all. I read on some forums that this unit DOES NOT SOUND NICE. What the hell!!!!! There should be really dumb people out there.. Hook up a couple of CV to affect sample rate and bitcrushing… Instant mayhem.

A-180 MULTIPLES. It goes without saying… the most beautiful sounding of ‘em all. Gh-gh-gh!"

"The synth under the cat is a pretty rare 12DCO Italian polysynth from the eighties [Solton Project 100]…. The cat is Pallina (little ball).

That’s my Xmas Studio!"
