New ASM LEVIASYNTH Keyboard & Desktop Synths Incoming?
This one is in via an anonymous reader.
Some text from the screen grab left:
"ASHUN SOUND MACHINES LEVIASYNTH DESKTOP
From the depths of the sonic seas a new monster rears its head: Leviasynth®.
Leviasynth® is a 16-voice, 8-oscillator algorithmic synthesizer with analog filters.
From the beginning ASM has strived to create synthesizers that challenge the status quo.
Leviasynth® continues this tradition, elevating both studio and stage with a solid steel chassis, enhanced Polytouch® polyphonic aftertouch pads, and an all-new hybrid digital / analog synthesis engine. Leviasynth is an unflinching masterpiece of sonic potential. The 8 oscillators, 13 envelopes, 5 LFOs, 18 digital filter modes, and 4-pole analog low pass filters inspire creativity and live performances.
Flexibility abounds, with two layers of synthesis that can be stacked or split, the ability to pair voices into binaural stereo mode with independent modulation of carrier and modulator signals, as well as various voice allocation modes..."

New Roland TR-1000 RHYTHM CREATOR Incoming
Update: teaser videos added below.
This one was sent in via an anonymous reader. It's apparently from a Sweetwater catalog.
The text reads:
"NEW!
Meet the TR-1000:
Roland's Legacy Rhythms Reborn
Blueprinted with unprecedented potential, the Roland TR-1000 Rhythm Creator marries historic heat, analog presence, and digital precision into a polychromic powerhouse built on the masterfully re-created circuits of the legendary TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines. Its hybrid architecture houses a trio of synth engines, bringing a prismatic palette of FM, PCM, and VA possibilities to the TR-1000's analog foundations, with ACB modeling supplying the coveted circuit-bent sonics of the 8X and 9X models. Over 2,500 onboard sounds join a wealth of digital and analog effects while the suite of classic-to-contemporary connectivity effortlessly integrates the TR-1000 into any arrangement. Add in cutting-edge Morphing performance controls, next-gen TR-REC sequencing. true-stereo re/sampling, and an unbridled array of sonic contouring tools, and you've only scratch the surface of the TR-1000's kaleidoscopic capabilities — vintage heart, modern soul. and endless exploration waiting to be discovered by you."
If legit, I'm curious how it will compare the the TR-8S. Note the change in design aesthetic. Reminds me of the GAIA with a touch of Elektron gear. Note the Morph slider on the bottom right and display on the top right.

Update3: top two high-res pics sent my way via Soviet Space Child. Note blogger shrinks them. You can find the originals here.
It appears to be a desktop version of the Quantum minus analog filters.
"Waldorf Iridium has made the impossible possible. The mighty synth engine from Quantum is now available in a compact form. Tracing the footsteps of its bigger brother, Iridium features all the synthesis elements of Quantum as well in a rack-compatible format.

The combination of the powerful engine, incredible flexibility and detailed sound shaping facilities creates sheer endless possibilities of sound. Yet, the comprehensive layout and easy-to-understand structure lets you design your own sounds in no time. Sporting a solid metal casing and the same high level of craftsmanship like Quantum, Iridium is now ready to take over studios and stages throughout the world.Contributing another entry in Waldorf's rich history, Iridium joins the family as a direct descendant of the PPG Wave. Though, Iridium offers much more than its ancestor. Five different synthesis models are provided by Iridum for each of the three oscillators:
Wavetable
Waveform (Virtual Analog)
Particle (Sampling and Granular Sampling)
Resonator
Kernels

NAMM Leaks: The Synclavier is Coming to the iPad w/ Physical Knob Controller
Spotted this one on Synthtopia
"Synclavier Go! (for iPad) and Synclavier Pocket! (for iPhone and iPod Touch) re-create the original Synclavier II FM Synthesis engine, with a touch-screen interface inspired by the original hardware. The Synclavier DSP Engine – used by Arturia in its Synclavier V product line – is a faithful recreation of the FM- and Additive-Synthesis functions of the original instrument.
Synclavier Knob is an authentic re-creation of the control knob used in the original Synclavier instrument. This USB-powered version o?ers an unparalleled experience for the sound designer and synthesist, especially when compared to traditional mouse-driven computer interfaces.
Pricing and Availability
The new iOS apps are expected to be available on Jan 23. Pricing is TBA. Availability and pricing for the Synclavier Knob is TBA. Details are still to come at the Synclavier site."

NAMM Leaks: New Akai APC - Stand Alone MPC Crossed with Ableton Push w/ CV?
Spotted this one on Sequencer.de who has a link to the manual, and Create Digital Music who has a good write-up on it.
"And here’s the bombshell: Akai taken the APC workflow and even cloned elements of Ableton Live. But this is basically a Live knockoff – not the real thing. Hence the manual refers to “Matrix View,” not Session View, and so on. So even though Ableton could have – arguably even should have – done something like this already, they didn’t. We’ll see if workflow alone is enough but to sway users or whether this will just be a shadow off of the original.Think MPC Live with clip launching and APC control, not Ableton Live a box. Whether that’s good news to disappointment depends on what you want.
Standalone hardware that does what software does – it’s a funny thing."

NAMM Leaks: New KORG Volca Modular & Volca Drum
And the first NAMM 2019 rumor is in. A new KORG Volca Modular "Micro Modular Synthesizer" & Volca Drum "Digital Percussion Synthesizer". Click the pics to explore. Note the mini patch points (ala Tinysizer) on the Volca Modular, and the display on the Volca Drum.
The Volca Modular appears to be a "West Coast" approach with a Woggle modulation source and 2 LPGs or Lowpass Gates. An LPG is essentially the Buchla version of a Lowpass Filter. There also appears to be some oscillator wave folding on the left. Man, this is going to sell like hotcakes. I want one now. Digital drums on the Volca Drum with modulation does look interesting as well.
