New Eurorack module from Livestock Electronics LEAP

Published on Oct 1, 2019 BAMTV

"Daniel Mulder from Livestock Electronics, a company that is based in Eindhoven, just like BAMTV, demonstrates its latest Eurorack module LEAP and the MAZE. All modules are also provided with a new color: black, instead of the familiar gray / green."

Powerful new modules from Livestock Electronics!!! Shepherd, Ellis & Leap // Superbooth 2019

Published on May 23, 2019 DivKidVideo

"I really like the Livestock Electronics modules. BANG makes for a great characterful oscillator, MAZE is killer signal routing magic box and MIR and FELIX ignite a system with their useful utilitarian-ism-ness. The new modules look to continue to add a tonne of power to a Eurorack system with 6 channels and over 20 outputs, Ellis is a macro controller, voltage generator, potential chord machine and Leap is an LFO and envelope with a few tricks up it's sleeve! ... if modules even have sleeves."

Livestock Electronics MAZE - Sequential Attenuverting Matrix Mixer & Signal Router in Eurorack

Published on Feb 8, 2019 DivKidVideo

"I've had a lot of fun with the Livestock Electronics Maze. With it's option to route and then control level and inverted level of any input signal to any output the potential for this thing is pretty crazy! Going beyond that having the option to save several banks of 16 states and recall these states AND THEN use CV or triggers to move through the presets states randomly, in order, addressed by CV, with Euclidean patterns etc. Really cool.

TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS

00:00 Hello and patch previews

00:49 What is Maze? Features etc.

04:23 Routing, inverting and mixing modulation

08:06 SLCT input - using external signals to move through saved routing presets.

09:05 Switching and distributing triggers to shift up your beats

12:41 Interesting use of an accent pattern

14:57 Turning an offset voltage into a 4 voice chord machine

16:46 Building pitch and modulation sequences and states

20:16 SLCT Fade mode - crossfade between 16 states of routing, level control and inversion."

""At least now we know why they call it the Milky Way."

Want to change your patch with a push of a button? Create presets for attenuversion, routing and mixes of signals? Sequence and morph through audio and cv? Then Maze has got you sorted!

Maze is a versatile routing and mixing matrix. That allows you to create your own touchpad of patch presets. Each routing position has been equipped with an attenuverting VCA so it can be used for signal distribution and attenuversion.

Morphing speed between presets can be changed and routings can be muted. Preset selection is also possible with CV and several algorithms. The signal path is entirely analog and it is even possible to chain Maze modules together to increase your matrix."

Livestock Electronics BANG // Lo-fi glitchy game inspired wavetable action

Published on Jan 2, 2019 DivKidVideo

"**TIMING NEX / SECTIONS BELOW** Here's the killer glitchy lo-fi goodness of BANG from Livestock Electronics. It's a 10hp digital oscillator with a unique approach to wavetables. Wavetables are made up of multiple waves with odd, even and chunk control. Odd and even control the waveform for the top positive section (odd) and the waveform present on the bottom negative section (even) and can be modulated independently. Chunks has a range of FX depending on the waves from sync like tones to noise injections and more. You can swap out the waves and also use the waveform creation app (free for mac or pc) to create your own waves and just drop those onto the SD card (slot on the front of the module).

TIMING INDEX / SECTIONS

00:14 Patch Previews // What’s to come in the video

01:14 BANG - what is it? Features, verbal run down

02:45 Tonal exploration, looking at the waveforms, odd and even, chunks.

Livestock Electronics Bang *FIRST PATCH*

Published on Oct 26, 2018 DivKidVideo

"As with all my *FIRST PATCH* videos this was literally the first patch I made with Bang from Livestock Electronics. Here it's going through a low pass gate / LPG and playing against some drums for a quick and exploratory look at the great range of tones that Bang creates. Full video demo soon."

BANG by LIVESTOCK ELECTRONICS

BANG by LIVESTOCK ELECTRONICS - overall review (ENGLISH VERSION)

Published on Oct 10, 2017 COLOR MY SOUND

"This is a review of BANG digital wavetable oscillator manufactured by LIVESTOCK ELECTRONICS. The review also appears in October (2017) issue of "Estrada i Studio" - biggest Polish monthly magazine devoted to music production and studio equipment."

via Livestock Electronics

"Bang is a lo-fi digital wavetable oscillator inspired by old game consoles. However it takes a totally new approach to wavetables synthesis: within a cycle it switches between so called chunks that are indexed as odd or even numbers. Waves can be assigned to these odd or even chunks, which allows for complex waveforms. The result is aliased, aggressive and absolute fun!

The module comes with six libraries containing 12 waves each. It is even possible to create own wave libraries using the supporting application for Mac and Windows."
