Elektron Digitakt II and SOMA Lyra-8 explorations
video upload by Bobo Meijer
"Some exploration with the Lyra-8 pairs with the Digitakt II for all kinds of weird sounds. It is very easy to get lost in the Lyra and it really takes some time to understand what it is doing. I really like it so far but it’s also very hard to make something with it on the fly.. needs time ☺️"

Uplifting Synth Jam feat. the OB-6, Pulsar-23, Cascadia, Polybrute
video upload by Jon Gee
"Lil weekend jam session I recorded yesterday. Made a sequence on the OB-6, oscillators tuned to 5ths. Took inspiration from a beat Lone did in his tune “Realise”. Cascadia arp mostly on that lovely sine wave (likely one of my fav sounds from Cascadia). Halfway it goes into some freaky territory with Pulsar’s bass and some thru-zero FM on the arp. Music is healing. A jam a day keeps the doctor away."

Designing A Case For Percussion // Eurorack with SP404 & Digitakt
video upload by Michael Manning
"My new album: https://sovnrecords.bandcamp.com/albu...
In this video I talk through my process of using a small ALM 52hp Eurorack Case to expand my percussion options within a setup. It is driven via a Digitakt which feeds into an African rhythm derived trigger module. Everything is then fed into an SP404.
This is the basis for my attempt at creating and performing live music. In the future I hope to show more developments into this process and eventually film a live set for this channel."

Pulsar-23 VS Tanzmaus - TEKKNO SESSION TWO
video upload by alternatingbitmusic
"A lengthier & beefier session as the MFB Tanzmaus clocks the SOMA LABS Pulsar-23 in a rhythmic showdown."
LEPLOOP vs PULSAR 23 DAY 01 - one handed nonsense
video upload by Keith Duncan Sound
"What an interesting weird and wonderful combo, let's see where this goes eventually... Struggling to get them speaking to each other properly.
this LEPLOOP is a wee modular box in itself, I am looking forward to hooking it up to the pulsar but need to get used to its internal routing and sequencing first."

SOMA Pulsar-23 and Make Noise Strega with Meris Mercury X reverb jam
video upload by Bobo Meijer
"Jamming away with the SOMA Pulsar-23 and Make Noise Strega. This could have been way shorter because it’s not happening much here but I got carried away 😌 adding the Meris Mercury X to the Strega can definitely bring some very nice results… i just have some difficulty taming the Strega itself and think i want an 0-ctrl for it but not sure to keep this or go for a Lyra-8 perhaps."

SOMA Pulsar-23 techno jam
video upload by Bobo Meijer
"Some more jamming on the SOMA Pulsar-23. It’s crazy how fast time flies by when you’re twisting the nobs and trying to find some nice patches.. I was actually supposed to try out one of the patches from the Pulsar-23 patch-book available on the SOMA website but never got to it because I just continued tweaking this 😁"

Just a Minute - SOMA TERRA #1
video upload by Stefan Tretau
"These are my first steps with the TERRA from SOMA. I am far from mastering the instrument. Nevertheless, I am sharing my first musical experiences because I believe that it is a unique instrument that anyone, whether amateur or professional, can have fun with. Since I typically rely on programmable sequencers and DAWs, TERRA comes as a refreshing change. The intuitive user interface makes playing effortless and inspires you to break new ground. Let's see where the TERRA-journey takes me...
I used a Neunaber Immerse Reverberator on the TERRA outputs to have the internal effect (such as the delay) and a secondary reverb effect. I also added a looper pedal to loop certain phrases.
If you hear any crackling, cracking or clipping, it's due to my (to be optimized) audio system and not the TERRA itself."

SOMA Pulsar-23 jam (using clock dividers only)
video upload by Bobo Meijer
"Here I’m just using the clock dividers to trigger the drums and bass and the bass is also sent individually to the delay for some extra effect while the rest is sent to reverb. The hihat also had the LFO running. Endlessly fun to just play the Pulsar like a living and breathing instrument 😄"
Using the Launchpad Pro as a DAWless workstation | Novation Connects
video upload by Novation
"In our first episode of Novation Connects, we demonstrate how to sequence the Pulsar 23 and Fireball via midi with our Launchpad Pro, in a DAWless approach to music production.
Here's how to sequence external gear with your Launchpad Pro, using a DAWless setup. The Pulsar 23 and Fireball are connected to the Launchpad Pro via midi, allowing the user to send midi notes and cc parameters to both the Fireball and Pulsar 23. This allows you to sequence and control each instrument. The Launchpad Pro is mapped to send midi to each drum track on the Pulsar 23, and another midi channel on the Launchpad Pro is mapped to sequence the Fireball. This DAWless setup is great for both music production and live performance.
Novation Connects Episode 1 - Chapters:
0:00 - Using Launchpad's drum grid to sequence a pattern
0:41 - Creating variation with the Launchpad probability settings
0:52 - Sequencing with the Launchpad note mode and Mutate function
1:21 - Using Launchpad mute buttons to create variation
1:41 - Modifying pattern length to build tension
2:06 - Jamming with Launchpad's Sequence mode"
Novation Connects Episode 2:
We went DAWless with an AFX Station and Endorphin.es Pedals - it sounds BONKERS
video upload by Novation
"Bass Station II: https://novationmusic.com/products/ba...
Circuit Rhythm: https://novationmusic.com/products/ci...
In Novation Connects episode two, we show you how to use our epic AFX Station in a DAWless setup with Circuit Rhythm, the Endorphin.es Ghost pedal and Endorphin.es Golden Master.
This setup brings together the minds of Aphex Twin, who collaborated with us on the AFX Station, and Andrew Huang, who helped design the Endorphin.es Ghost pedal, to create a brilliant DAWless workflow.
Chapters:
0:00 - AFX Station - Endorphin.es Ghost - Circuit Rhythm - Endorphin.es Golden Master
0:37 - Manipulating sounds with the Endorphin.es Ghost
01:02 - Activating AFX Overlays
01:50 - What is AFX Mode?
02:37 - DAWless jam"
