New Axcore Experimental Hardware Synthesizer from Synth-Project in the Works

Mario from Synth-Project, known for his knob-laden custom hardware controllers for various software based synths, is working on a new stand alone synth, the Axcore Experimental Synthesizer. What makes this different, is the hardware will actually host the synth engine running Axoloti. This will be a stand alone synthesizer, not just a controller. No word if this will be a one-off production, like his other controllers.

after playing around with the Axcore, I've made the decision to build a case/cabinet around it. I want my own standalone Synthesizer.

"The universal Controller. Special designed for the iPad. The iPad works as a Step Sequencer via Midi In to the Controller. The Controller is pre-labeled for the most important parameters.

With the Midi touch App for the iPad you have up to 127 Parameters.

The Front Panel has a size for a 3 Octave Keyboard with Pitch Joystick and Modulation Knob. I choosed Aluminium Knobs for a better look."

"The ISP3 Controller is specially designed for the iVCS3 iOS app. It has an iPad slot to put the iPad inside the case.

The main screen in this case is the patch matrix in zoom mode. The upper front panel has some additional knobs and switches for the step sequencer and the flanger.

The MIDI electronic is a Doepfer MIDI USB64 interface. The 2 octave keyboard is a Fatar keyboard and works together with the MKE keyboard electronic from Doepfer. It simulate the DK1 keyboard with the separate oscillator."

Synth-Project DIVA C Hardware Controller for DIVA

You are looking at the DIVA Controller for Urs Heckmanns DIVA soft synth. This is hardware and not a render. According to the site there are "two Doepfer USB64 MIDI interfaces, one special wheel electronic for pitch and mod wheel and the MKE Electronic for the four octave Fatar keyboard with velocity. The controller has about 90 know and 25 switches…"

"The A.C.E. Controller has 2 Doepfer Midi Interfaces inside. A 3 octave keyboard with velocity and Channel Aftertouch.

About 90 knobs, 8 Sliders, 6 switches and Joystick to control the most important parameters of the Instrument.

For the moment, the patch sockets, have no function, because there is no midi learn function for these sockets. I placed them for the final look and maybe for later use.

I hope Mr.Heckmann find a way for the midi learn function of the patch sockets.

The black knobs are for the parameters of the main screen. The gray buttons at the buttom of the Front Panel are for the Tweak Page."
