TAL sampler | Digital Collection Vol.1 by Espen Kraft DOWNLOAD

video by Espen Kraft

"128 synth patches taken directly from my collection of vintage hardware. Now and before. Sampled by me personally and taken at the output of each synthesizer. I've spent a lot of time honing each patch to sound like it's coming off one of the old samplers I love so much. In addition you get 8 performance patches you can play or edit. You can of course edit all the patches too if you want to.

Get the patches here:

Newest TAL-J-8 great Roland Jupiter 8 emulation with darkest Roland SH2 possible.

PawelBlaszczak_Composer

"Here is next preview of my upcoming album. Since I think hybrid is the best, here is newest Roland Jupiter 8 made by TAL playing together with Roland SH2."

"The TAL-J-8 is a very accurate emulation of the popular 80’s hardware synthesiser and calibrated after our own Jupiter 8 device. All sounds are generated in realtime without the use of any samples with the same endless modulation possibilities like the hardware and useful additional features like the calibration section that can make the filter scream.

Authentic emulation of the 80's hardware synthesizer.
Use the calibration section for extreme resonance and filter overdrive.
VCO based UNISON with stereo spread option and a full stereo signal path.
MPE support.
More than 200 factory presets by solidtrax, emptyvessel and others."

SoundForce Introduces New SFC-60 V3 TAL-U-NO-LX Juno-60 Hardware Controller

"The SoundForce SFC-60 V3 is a boutique class-compliant USB-MIDI controller dedicated to the fantastic TAL-U-NO-LX Juno-60 emulation. The original SFC-60 was the first SoundForce product to come out. I have come a long way since 2014 and this new version is based on all the lessons learned from several years of designing and manufacturing similar products. With a solid sheet metal case, colorful front panel and new software integration, it's my favourite controller so far. It is usable with any MIDI-mappable software or hardware but has special integrations with the TAL-U-NO-LX.

Features:
In collaboration with Patrick from TAL, special features have been implemented to improve the user experience and the hardware/software integration. Finally, all the LED-based physical switches can update their states when a preset is changed in the plugin. Also when switching instances on different tracks, the plugin can sync the controller and update the switches as well. It works a bit differently in each DAW, more details and videos on that coming soon. For the sliders/faders, the pick-up or scaling modes (similar to the Takeover modes in Ableton Live) can help avoiding "jumping" parameters. Those features require the latest version of the plugin. I would like to thank Patrick for his time and his contribution on this project.

Build quality
The controller is assembled in The Netherlands with parts from Europe and Asia. The enclosure is made of 100% sheet metal and is manufactured by Grawart (http://www.grawart.pl). The case is made of bent steel and powder coated in black. The front panel is aluminum, also powder coated and screen printed with scratch-proof white, blue and red inks. Walnut wood side panels of 8mm thickness are fitted to both sides of the controller. The sides are made in Amsterdam by Rob Gould (http://www.gouldcaseworks.nl/).

Pricing and Availability
The SFC-60 V3 is available on the SoundForce webshop for 349 euros incl VAT in the EU and 288 euros for customers outside the EU. In the US, Perfect Circuit is distributing the full SoundForce product line. US price is still to be announced."

Juno 60 vs TAL-U-NO-LX-V2

Valmont / Mooggy

"I did this video very quickly but anyway even without more precise comparison you can feel how close the TAL emulation is from the original machine.

What I think about this:
- Attack/Decay bites more on original Juno, emulation loses dynamics with Chorus enabled
- Chorus is finner on original unit, and there's a true vibrato in mode 1+2
- Filter is a bit more instable on the Juno, yet the emulation is really good and accurate
- Emulation's parameters go further than original's: longer decay, higher cutoff, longer Pulse Width
- Factory presets on TAL's sound different because of parameters range.

Overall a fantastic emulation for a portion of the original's price
In an A/B comparison, TAL's has less presence and it's a bit cleanner
But in a mix there would be no way to differenciate an emulation from the original unit."

Adding Juno Chorus to the Prophet REV2

Published on Dec 30, 2017

"The Dave Smith Prophet REV2 (8 voices here) is an amazing synth! But add some Juno chorus and say 'WOW', I use the TAL-Chorus-LX, a really nice emulation of the famous Roland Juno Chorus, I also added some FX reverb with the Eventide Space.
My little kitten really liked it so he wanted to play with me! :-)"

Imperfectionist for TAL Sampler

"Intro price of $20 until 31st August - https://sellfy.com/emptyvessel

In the vein of my factory presets and previous Dystopia sample pack for the TAL Sampler I present another 80 patches of dark ambient textures, pads and keys, dubby stabs and dirty, sub-heavy dusty basses. If you enjoyed Dystopia then you should enjoy these.

360Mb of fresh, original samples sourced from field recordings, vintage analog, modern digital - processed, re-synthesised and generally painstakingly mangled and mashed then left in a dusty attic for 6 months.

These samples have then been lovingly assembled using the various DAC models of the TAL Sampler to add crust, grit, crunch, dirt and artifacts into a set of patches suitable for dark, dubby, bass-orientated genres, ambient, experimental, trip-hop, dub-techno, D&B etc."

Soundcloud demos are here - https://soundcloud.com/emptyvessel_nz/sets/imperfectionist-for-tal

All TAL Sampler, drums from Maschine and minimal added FX for mastering only.

The pack can be purchsed from my store here - https://sellfy.com/emptyvessel"

TAL Sampler Synthesizer Based on the E-mu II

via TAL:

"TAL-Sampler is not just a sample player. It's a full featured analog modeled synthesizer with a sampler engine as sound source, including a powerful modulation matrix and a high quality self-oscillating 24/12/6 dB low pass filter.

Don't expect a 40GB piano sample library with samples for every velocity or something similar. The idea is to bring back the fun sampling was in the good old times with small samples, fast loading times and an intuitive work-flow to create your own sample presets without getting lost in the settings.

It's possible to choose between different digital analog converters (DAC's) to get the vintage sound of different hardware samplers inside your DAW. We don't make cheap bit crushing or decimation on the output signal. We really down-sample the sample to the desired sampling frequency, then process the data depending on the chosen DAC and up-sample it to the desired pitch. Most DAC modes offer a LEVEL slider. This feature allows the user to reduce the volume of the recorded sample and decreases the sample quality. Load your favorite high quality sample and make it sound vintage and noisy. The 24dB low pass filter will like it!.."

Features
Vintage DAC modes (Emu II, AM6070, Sample Hold).
Steep 96dB low-pass reconstruction filter (Emu II and AM6070 F).
Variable sample rate.
Powerful MOD-Matrix.
Four sample layers.
Three AHDSR envelopes with vintage Digital / RC mode.
Three LFO's (Triangle, Saw, Rectangle, Random, Noise).
High Quality effects (Reverb, EQ, Delay).
Self resonating zero feedback delay filter (24/12/6 dB LP).
Wide range of audio formats supported (*.wav, *.aiff, *.aif, *.mp3, *.ogg, *.flac).
Scallable high resolution user interface.
The possibility to change font and background colour.
Fast sample and preset loading.
More than 100 presets available as download (on the right).

Sound Review: TAL Bassline 101 Leads & Pads

Published on Feb 13, 2015 Synth Anatomy

"Expansion for this plugin: http://www.sampleism.com/tw-sounds/sa... - Update will coming very soon

This video shows the Bass and FX Sounds of this plugin

TAL-BassLine-101 is a monophonic bass synthesizer and a very accurate emulation of the popular hardware device. The GUI is intuitive and easy to use. It produces the raw sound you know from analogue devices without any effects.
Its 24dB zero feedback delay low pass filter has a very smooth and authentic sound without any digital artifacts, especially designed and calibrated for extreme settings. It sounds even smooth with a lot resonance and a high oscillator pitch where most emulations fail.
Details as envelope transitions between overlapping notes are carefully modeled. The oscillators do not use any samples. TAL-BassLine-101 generates all wave-forms in real time. Filter-FM allows it to choose an oscillator waveform as modulation source for the filter cutoff. This additional feature can be used to create a wide range of new sounds."
