6 voice Poly synth on teensy 3.6

Published on Oct 20, 2017 neutron7

"this is quite long, you might want to skip some! you can hear some of the more "normal synth" type sounds and also see how the screens show the settings for the controls. this synth has 6 voices, each with 3 oscillators. effect/filter 2 envelopes, LFO, etc. it is still a long way from finished, (or even design finalized) and may become a DIY eurorack project."

DIY Teensy-based Polyphonic Synth by Florian Loretan

Published on Apr 20, 2016 Florian Loretan

"Here’s a quick demo of a project in progress.

A while ago, I bought an old bontempi keyboard on ebay for €3.50, but it stopped working shortly after I got it. My original plan to simply replace the defective sound chip was ditched for a fully custom enclosure with its own interface - the only thing remaining from the original are the keys. The sound generation is done with a teensy and the fantastic teensy audio board.

There is still functionality to be programmed (arpeggiator, presets, sampler among others), but the hardware part is done, and enough is there for the synth to be really fun to play. A more detailed walk-through might come later."

DIY Teensy Synth: the Electronics

"In this follow up video, I talk about the electronics part of my Teensy-based Synth. Note that I'm using the Teensy Audio adaptor to generate the audio, so all the electronics is only about control signals, no audio processing, which simplifies things quite a bit."

Vintage Sequential PROPHET 600 Analogue Synthesizer!☆ w/ Teensy CPU SN 1573

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Hi, you're looking at a vintage 1982 Sequential CIrcuits Prophet 600 Analogue Synthesizer in absolutely stunning super-clean condition!!

This already great sounding twin VCO analogue synthesizer benefits from having the incredible GliGli/Teesy CPU and firmware upgrade installed. This has turned the Prophet 600 into a truly amazing polysynth...it easily competes with the Prophet 5 and in my view actually sounds nicer...I've always prefered them sonically even before the upgrade..but now this synth is on a whole new level! Super fast enevelopes, super high pot resolution(no stepping), fully MIDI control..plus a whole host of new sonic possiblities!

Prophet 600 Manual, GliGli Upgrade manual and power lead all included. Comes loaded up with all the original factory presets as described in the manual!

It has also been serviced and calibrated for sale and is ready to go. No scratchy pots or leaking caps or anything else and All features work fully and have been thoroughly checked, including all foot-switch operations.

The sound is just ridiculously organic and rich!"
