Alexander Zolotov is the developer of SunVox.

"Each track is infinite and sounds differently every time you press PLAY.
Used functions: slow (subsonic) LFOs, probabilities, random notes and controllers (pattern effects 20-29), random phase setting at the beginning of the song, random interpolated waveform of LFO, prime numbers as the sizes of parallel patterns (in the set of MetaModules), etc.

SloBo - Bowed Strings synth made in SunVox

"Sorry for out of focus video!

Little sound demo of SloBo - a synth made purely with SunVox modules, no samples involved. It's my personal study case of synthesizing a raw approximation of bowed instruments and learning about the articulation techniques of cellos, violins & Co. It's called SloBo because as of now it allows only relatively slow bowing articulation. Future versions or derivations might include other types of playing styles (need to dig deeper into the topic).

Big thanks to Alex Zolotov of SunVox (a.k.a. NighRadio) for his latest update of SunVox which allows multi-channel MIDI mapping of modules and allowing construction of MPE enabled patches!

"so this is my first attempt at a circuit based synth. it makes some horrible noises. that's why it's called 'do capacitors dream of electric death?', it sounds like electricity trying to die.
i don't know if it's really useful (the intro tune was a quick little something i made up in Sunvox with noises only from the synth.) But i'm quite happy with it's overall aesthetic and well, since it's my first attempt at anything like this i'm just glad it worked and ended up making noises :P
