G-Storm Electro DIY VCF Module

Classic Synthesizer Filter Breadboard

Published on Nov 9, 2017 gstormelectro

Watch the above video if you want to guess what the filter is modelled after. The answer is in the video below, so don't look if you want to guess.

"Audio + Video by G-Storm Electro c.2017

My first video in HD 1080p! Today I am demonstrating a classic lowpass filter circuit study on a breadboard. Shrill audio alert! - Self-oscillation audio tests are performed here. All I can say at this time this circuit is not exactly Moog per se, and the self-oscillation droid sounds are another BIG clue. I run a pulse from my Pittsburgh Synth Box, sweep the frequency cutoff, then use CV modulations with an LFO and then sample/hold. I am planning a glorious eurorack module of this circuit so stay tuned."

"The incredible Make Noise Maths used to generate notes and gate into an another incredible thing: the =0-Coast.
The 0-Coast is setted very plain, there is no Multiply or Overtone or Line FM or random, just a Little decay in the Contour and a little reverb from a Zoom MS-70CDR."

Ambient Exploration 012 - Furthrrrr ambient drone

Published on Nov 21, 2017 Fading Canvas

"Furthrrrr Generator providing the sound, pitch done manually through quantized Rene. Carrier VCO frequency modulated by modulator VCO in clocked sample & hold mode. Maths clocked by Octocontroller and 4MS RCD doing slow envelopes to RYO 3xVCA. Sound going through Rainmaker and Erbe-Verb, slowly lifting it into space. A bunch of LFO's subtle touching Rainmaker, Erbe, and the Generator in various ways. Little compression done in Ableton Live."
