"Schopfung is a collective work of electroacoustic music and video I conceived with the students of Philosophy and Electronic Music Workshop I created and have been supervising for two years in Lycée Edouard Herriot of Lyon. This work explores the question of natural and artistic beauty through music and image ans is based on a famous meditation of Hegel about this problem in his Aesthetics."

"As it vas programed, the students and I presented our work during a performance monday evening at 17h30 at the theatre of our High School (Lycée Edouard Herriot, in the city of Lyon).

We divided the performance in various pats : a first piece of music and video you will find here, a first live improvised set, a second video and music piece (Hadikat Raja XXI you already know because the students thought it fitted with our theme) and a last short improvised set. The live sets will be presented apart un a single video.

Here is the collective work of music and video by which we began.

Is is called Schopfung (Creation) un reference to Haydn's oratorio, Die Schopfung,(The Creation). Our them was the question of natural and artistic beauty after the mediations of Hegel about it in his Aesthetics. The idea of a link between this philosophical program and the concept of creation was suggested to us by fabulous recordings of electromagnetic waves from the solar system planets achieved by Voyager I and II during the seventies.

We used natural recorded sounds, various synths, and voices of two student girls members of the group.

Here is the approximative timetable of our various sound and music tracks. (All sounds except the natural sounds and the girls voices and the Bulgarian voices of Voices of Passion by Eastwest ,are original creations of the various instruments - when a sound, natural of coming out a synth or a natural voice is treated by the GRM Tools, I always give this precision)

This marks #365...a year's worth of somewhat nightly noiz rituals for the adept Psychonaut.
The noiz will continue as always but this is a small goal achieved.

Late Night Noiz For Late Night Fiends has become a ritual of live noiz performances that finds similarities or parallels in Buddhist Sand Mandalas.

Every noiz generator is patched together with an accompanying designed video synthesis that seems to represent what I am hearing. Then...after the session...everything is turned off...most if not all patches are not saved and any analog settings are lost in the ether.

All that remains is the two track and it's accompanying visual abstraction.

Anyhow...the soundscape continues...more noiz!

"I like pedals that mess up synths and give them an edge. Sadly a lot of distortion, drive and fuzz pedals simply don't work well with synths. At least half the pedals of this sort I buy are almost useless on synth and never make it as far as a video. Instead they go straight into the "buyer's remorse" bag to be resold. There seems no way to tell ahead of time which will work and which will just sit there with the knobs having almost no effect. So it's an anxious lucky dip. The Chug pedal by Solar Guitars is a reasonable success on synth, tried here with the DB-01 Bassline and the Behringer Cat. Some of the gain controls do almost nothing but overall you can sculpt a pretty nasty sound and, depending on the synth, do some extra shaping with the gate control. Strangely the gate was vital to reduce noise on the DB01 but wasn't even needed on the Cat.

I bought this pedal with my own money at full price. I haven't communicated with Solar Guitars other than as a regular customer. The links here are for your interest only:

"«Explorer» is a collection of 50 patches: 13 Leads, 13 Basses, 13 Plucks, 6 Drones, 5 FX.
This soundset is the opposite of my previous one, 'Analog Classics,' where I focused on creating more vintage/classical timbres. In the "Explorer" bank of presets, I aimed to dive deeper into the Kobol Expander and achieve the most interesting and experimental results.

💎 The collection includes aggressive, bright, detuned, freaky, noisy, atonal, metallic, generative, evolving, rhythmic timbres.
Plucks are excellent for use with arpeggiators or sequencers. In most examples of this category, I utilize an arpeggiator. Kobol Expander doesn’t have a built in arp/seq, but you may integrate your preferred arpeggiators or sequencers from your DAW or MIDI controller.
Drones produce dark, distorted tones with heavy modulations, FM, noise, etc. They can be used as pads in genres like techno, industrial, or ambient to create a certain inharmonic atmosphere.

📻 The presets are suitable for a variety of genres, including: ambient, electronica, IDM, deep, techno, house, progressive, trance, lounge, downtempo, pop, chill out, new age, cinematic, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, dub and others.

📚 The soundset is presented in the form of PDF-Document. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance. Solar 42: A unique cinematic drone synthesizer

Hammond 102100 Vintage Analog Mono Synth

"Up for sale is a very rare Hammond 102100. It is a single oscillator analog monophonic synth made in the mid 70's (1974?) by Hammond Japan. It was originally meant to be a preset synth that would sit atop your Hammond organ. Supposedly there were only 200 ever produced, and there are probably less than 50 in working condition. So I would say it is extrememly rare to find one in this condition. It is much like the other early mono preset synths from the same era: Arp Pro Soloist, Moog Minitmoog, Moog Satellite, Roland SH-1000, Korg Micropreset & Minikorg. All great synths, but this may be the hardest to find.

It is100% functional. All keys work perfectly, no messed up key contacts, sliders move easily, no broken buttons. Very very clean/good physical condition. There is a chip to the wood paneling pictured below. Other than that there is barely a scratch on it.

How it works: There are six factory presets. French Horn, Tuba, Violin, Sax, Clarinet, Solar Echo. These are selectable via the buttons on the right. To the left you have a programming matrix, with buttons for all the functions. The matrix has sections for the following functions: Waveform, octave (3 octave keyboard with 6 octave selectable range), Filter (7 filter envelope positions), Cutoff, 3 Filter Modulations, Envelope, Attack Speed, VCA envelope release, pitch modulation, and vibrato contact delay.

Each button is numbered, so actually remembering a preset is quite easy. You just write down the 7 digit number of all the buttons that were depressed.

Final, but important, note: The power supply is European. It reads 230v 50-60khz 20va. I tested the synth with a basic step up transformer and it worked great."

Roland MKS-7 Epic SYNTH Demo | Juno 106 in a RACK!

"Playing the Roland MKS-7 Super Quartet analog synth in 6-voice "whole mode" (where the Chord and Melody parts are triggered together). Patches are all made using the Ctrlr VST. I used a couple of @EspenKraft Juno 106 patches as a starting point and modified them further myself.

"Behringer Wasp Deluxe «Analog Classics» is a collection of 50 presets: 16 Leads, 16 Basses, 18 Plucks.
It includes famous sounds that are found in many electronic tracks, from vintage to modern, musical solo timbres; retro basses that will fit into any track or performance. The patches will add uniqueness to your music, featuring the characteristic sound introduced by the Behringer Wasp Deluxe.
