"Live performance/cover of one of my favourite Tangerine Dream tracks. Utilising a little help from a couple of Elektron boxes :)

Analog Four is doing three sequencer parts plus a bass, while the RYTM is doing almost all the drums. Other layers, pads/atmospheric stuff are sequenced in the DAW (Studio One Pro 3) with levels controlled by the faders on the Akai MPK261 midi keyboard. Parts I'm playing are soft-synths; Falcon/Zebra2 (soft bells), Diva (lead synth part), Dune 2 (gritty pad/lead) via multi-instrument keyboard split.

'Minimum' was recorded entrirely within a Eurorack modular system - sounds, effects, mixing, WAV recording, as a real-time performance (no overdubs). All sound modules are AJH Synth. It uses 6 analog VCOs: The melody is a single VCO (lower frequency) supporting the self-resonating Ladder Filter (upper). The later pattern is 2 VCOs through the Ring SM sub-octave generator. The drone sound in the background is 3 VCOs, 2 through the Wave Swam, and all through the Triple Cross module, where they're cross-faded using 3 seperate LFOs.

I made an extended version of one of Mass Effect's most characteristic themes. Simply sowed the two different versions of the Galaxy Map theme together (ME's Uncharted Worlds and ME2' New Worlds) and added Sam Hulick's track from the Extended Cut OST to it (I Am Alive And I Am Not Alone) in which he purposefully referenced this theme.

"I was creating a few Morphagene reels, improvising with the Peak into the looper and came up with this little loop that turned out to be quite a nice track by itself, so I decided to share it.

Keystep to Peak. Peak goes into the DittoX4 looper, then into the 7U case to Rainmaker for some extra texture. Onto Mimeophon for the ping-pong delay and a little wow/flutter with the micro-pitch input modulated. Finally into Morphagene for recording. All sounds from Novation Peak.

"A improvised track with the Sequential Pro 3, using some custom made presets and some of factory ones. Sorry about the distorting/clipping bass mid-way through. My first impression playing with the Pro 3 it just how analog and warm and characterful it is, even compared to other modern analog synths, so I figured doing something Jarre-esque would be fun to try. Everything playing is from the Pro 3, with the backing track improvised into the Ditto X4 looper before recording.

All FX (phaser, chorus, delays etc) are from the Pro 3, except some Valhalla Shimmer added to the lead parts.
