► Warm VS Cold ► fun sounds for Novation Peak & Summit by Jexus.
video upload by Jexus (sounds-for-synths.com)
"Warm VS Cold: fun sounds for Novation Peak / Summit by Jexus (this is an update of my soundpack, demo'ed in 2 videos - this is the first video). This demo focuses on lo-fi, dusty & fragile sounds.
Thoughts & info: https://sounds-for-synths.com/novatio...
All sounds come from the 'Jexus Peak / Summit Soundset' with 250 custom presets / patches. The patches work on both Peak & Summit. You don’t need any custom / external wavetables. However, you need firmware V 2.0 minimum. My presets come under the name 'WCOG + number' in a soundbank saved as a sysex file. Note: my presets will be a little bit quieter than the factory presets.
I did not use any external FX in the demo; all the delays, reverbs, noises and other effects are part of the Peak / Summit engine & mod matrix. I only used some EQ-ing on selected sounds."

Seventies Synth Songs on the Novation Peak (with free soundbank)
video upload by TheGuacamoleXplosion
"Partial covers of synth-focused tracks from each year of the 1970s on the Novation Peak. No talking.
All synth sounds (including most electronic drum sounds) in this video are pure Novation Peak: Presets created from scratch, recorded directly through RME audio interfaces into Cubase, with no track effects added to any of the Peak tracks, not even EQ or panning (only exceptions: on Autobahn, the cluster Vocoder is two tracks hard-panned in the DAW; and the bass on the final part has a bit of treble shelved off with the Cubase stock EQ).
The soundbank for the Novation Peak (should also be compatible with the Novation Summit) as well as the individual sounds and the 1 User Wavetable I used in the “AnimAutobahn” faux vocoder patches can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder...
00:00 - Intro: Autobahn, Part C
02:57 - 1970: Emerson, Lake & Palmer — Lucky Man
04:22 - 1971: The Who — Won’t Get Fooled Again
05:17 - 1972: Hot Butter — Popcorn
06:52 - 1973: Pink Floyd — Any Colour You Like
08:13 - 1973: Pink Floyd — On The Run
09:58 - 1974: Kraftwerk — Autobahn (Parts A & B)
13:47 - 1975: Pink Floyd — Welcome To The Machine
17:46 - 1976: Jean Michel Jarre — Oxygène (Part IV)
19:34 - 1977: Weather Report — Birdland
20:15 - 1978: Parliament — Flash Light
22:21 - 1979: Supertramp — Child Of Vision
24:40 - Outro: Autobahn, Part D"

"Mesmeric Trance" - Moog Sound Studio & Novation Summit trippy jam
video upload by No Lake
"I remember a night in a club in Brussels. It must have been 4 a.m., I was starting to get tired, about to leave. Then a song started, something very languorous, trippy, and intoxicating. The song invaded my body and soul. It was very repetitive but at the same time very special, airy, ethereal. I stayed there, lulled by the music, and then I left, thinking ten minutes had passed. The song had lasted an hour.
Nothing is more frustrating than a song that sets an atmosphere, a mood, and then disappears, leaving us hanging. This is why I like longer tracks.

Novation Summit Binaural Patch Demos (Hard-Panned Bitimbral) | Dry vs FX | Headphones
video upload by copenhagennoiselab
"Follow-up to yesterday’s binaural Summit deep dive. No talking, no tutorial, just patches.
This is 9:50 of binaural-style patches on the Novation Summit, built using bitimbral mode with the two parts hard panned left and right. Each patch is demoed twice: dry first, then with Summit’s internal FX.
Why Summit works well for this: the digital NCOs can be kept phase-stable and pitch-stable, so you can control the exact differences between the left and right layers without slow drift turning the whole thing into randomness.
Headphones strongly recommended. The stereo perception is the whole point.
What you’ll hear
Binaural patches designed around controlled L/R differences
Each patch: no FX → FX
No narration, clean demos, consistent comparisons"

Binaural Synthesis on Novation Summit: Bitimbral Hard-Pan Patches + Build From Scratch
video upload by copenhagennoiselab
"This video is an experiment in binaural-style synthesis on the Novation Summit, using bitimbral mode with each part hard panned left and right.
I start by demoing a handful of binaural patches, then do a real-time build in the middle where I patch a binaural setup from scratch, explaining the decisions as I go. It ends with more patch demos once the core idea is in place.
The trigger for this was the ongoing discussion around the UDO range and how it approaches binaural by design. I realized you can push a similar concept much further on other synths if you’re willing to build it deliberately.
Why the Summit for this? The digital NCOs can be set up so both layers stay phase-aligned and pitch-stable, which makes it possible to control every intentional difference between left and right without the whole thing drifting into 'close enough.'
Headphones recommended. The effect is the point."

Magnetic Heart - Glowing
video upload by Magnetic Heart
"A live electronic music performance by Magnetic Heart.
The MIDI sequences were originally created on the Squarp Hapax and then recorded into Ableton, which is my main performance Sequencer. Here it's being used to sequence the Elektron Analog Four MK2, Elektron Analog Rytm MK2 and Novation Summit.
The synths are recorded back into Ableton where they are being mixed and mastered."
