Additional Signal Sounds listings

"We say...
A pre-owned Sequential Trigon-6 in very good condition. It comes with original packaging and power cable

Manufacturer's description
Experience the Power of Three Oscillators and a Ladder Filter with the Trigon-6 Module

The Sequential Trigon-6 desktop module delivers the same massive sound and hands-on sonic control as the Trigon-6 Keyboard. It features the same pure analog signal path with discrete oscillators and filters, and the same high-quality digital effects. It also has the same intuitive layout with full-sized knobs and switches that make it quick and easy to shape new sounds.

The Trigon-6 module sounds huge — just like the keyboard, because it is the same six voice polyphonic instrument, just in a smaller form factor. And if you want even more polyphony, you can use the poly chain feature to link any two Trigon-6s for a stunning twelve-voice synth!

A Sound That is Bold and Familiar

The Trigon-6 is Sequential’s polyphonic take on the classic, thick and creamy, 3-oscillator-plus-ladder-filter analog sound that defined the dawn of the synth era. It’s a sound that bridges genres and styles — now refined and redefined with Sequential’s own modern imprint.

RetroSound Studio Tour: Analog Monophonic Synthesizers

video upload by RetroSound

"Welcome to RetroSound Studio Tour: Analog Monophonic Synthesizers & Duophonic — a deep dive into legendary mono synths from the 1970s and 1980s, including rare East-Bloc classics.

In this new episode, I showcase iconic instruments such as the Minimoog, ARP Odyssey, Roland SH-101, Maxi-Korg, Sequential Circuits Pro-One, alongside Soviet and East German synthesizers like the Polivoks, Alisa 1377 and Vermona mono synths.

These analog monophonic synthesizers defined the sound of electronic music — from the fat Moog and cutting ARP to aggressive Polivoks and raw Eastern European character.

This video explores the sound and architecture of true analog mono synths built around VCO, VCF, and VCA signal paths, highlighting their distinctive basslines, lead sounds, and modulation capabilities. From the Moog basslines to the aggressive Polivoks filter sound and the unique character of East German Vermona synthesizers, each instrument demonstrates why 1970s and 1980s monophonic synthesizers remain highly sought after by collectors, producers, and electronic music enthusiasts."

Small Town Boy/Bronski Beat (Circuit Tracks version)

video upload by Guinan

"Feeling a bit of 80’s nostalgia ('Stranger Things' anyone?) I thought the time had finally come to try and give this classic electro-pop anthem the Circuit Tracks treatment. Released in 1984 (40+ years!) it’s too easy to forget how ground-breaking the song (and it’s subject) was in the political climate of the Eighties.

The song itself is a simple but almost perfect pop song. It was programmed on an MC-202 Microcomposer and is reputed to have started life as an electronic disco version of the Sex Pistol’s 'Pretty Vacant'!

Yamaha DX7 is used heavily on the track (notably the presets ‘Harp1’ and ‘Bass1’), and additional Sequential Pro-One, Memorymoog and Linn drums. I managed to simplify the arrangement to program everything and the vocals into a single Novation Circuit Tracks. Everything you hear is being played and recorded live from the Tracks.

I'm pleased at how close to the spirit of the original I managed to get this time. I hope you enjoy the track and it brings back some memories for you too."

"More details for synth nerds
BPM 135
I don’t own a DX7 (sadly!) but the closest thing I have is emulation. The repeated ‘Harp1’ DX7 line (and the ‘Marimba’ break) was sequenced on the Tracks MIDI 1 and sampled as 4-bar loops from the internal MicroDEXED emulator in an M-Vave SMK-37 Pro keyboard. Each sample was then triggered (like a drum sound) at the required point in the song using the Drum 3 track.

KIVIAK WoFi - "Fierceful Sequential Machines"

video upload by Alba Ecstasy

"Hi! The team from KIVIAK Instruments sent me the WoFi right before the Christmas.
And since then, there hasn't been a day that I haven't played the WoFi!

I’m not mastering it at it’s very best, yet! - but this sampler has a HUGE POTENTIAL!

From the very first day I sampled my voice, my kids' singing, my synths, ambiental noises and anything you can think of!

Diving into the samples with the Waveform Viewer, using the Touch Stripe or the Texturer’s buttons, to create new interesting sounds and modulate them with the LFO, to obtain either an industrial, harsh sounds or a sound with vintage lo-fi vibe.

Here’s a sample from my Sequential PRO 3, using it to create a Berlin School sequence on my own style with a vintage vibe, and playing over it - by using the SOLO function - a plucky/organ lead, both the sequence and the lead using the same sample.

I’m passing through the sampling MACHINES and the Playback Modes and tweaking some functions.

I added some delay and reverb, and during the playing (made in post processing) I’m bypassing them for a raw sound."

More to come, next days!

Questions?! Please ask!

Matt Barber - 80's in 80 seconds

video upload by Matt Barber - Sounds from The Sandbox

"Just thought I would try a little something fun...the title says it all. 0 to 80's in 80 seconds. Enjoy. Certified AI free and no traces of softsynths!

Drums - Oberheim DX Stretch, Korg DDD-1 - just a snare on 2 and 4 with mostly just the reverb return from a Roland SDE-330 non-lin setting, Roland TR8S - some perc and a ghost snare from the 707 kit.

Oberheim OB-8

Korg DW-8000

Bass - Roland D-50 patch also triggering a Roland JX8P and Korg Polysix to fatten and double it

Ensoniq ESQ - A nice PPG Wave patch from a sound cartridge I have for it.

Sequential Rev 2 also triggering a bell patch on the Yamaha TG33

Yamaha DX7iiD - nice dual patch one a rhodes type and the other a tine from the many banks on the Hypersynth card to finish it off and play out on."

Matt Barber - 80's in 80 seconds - Episode 2

video upload by Matt Barber - Sounds from The Sandbox

"80's in 80 Seconds Episode 2 has landed! The first one was a bit fun so let's keep the theme going. This one starts off with a nice "groove" and builds with some synths spanning the decade. If you listen past the 80 seconds the Arp Odyssey briefly shows off its duo-phonic capabilities with a few 2 note chords that almost have a vocoder like effect with the phaser on it just after the 2 minute mark.
The following instruments were used and recorded as a 2 track with no editing or overdubs with each part being played into a pair of Arturia Keystep Pro sequencers. As always, AI free and made with real ingredients. Thanks for watching!

Oberheim DX Stretch - main drums
Korg DDD-1 - perc
Roland TR8-S - additional high hats, rim shot, crash
Berhinger - Model D - Bass
Roland Jupiter 4 - Arp
Korg PolySix - Synth Brass Pad 1
Roland Jupiter 6 - Synth layer 2
Yamaha DX7II - Bell 1
Roland D-50 - Bell 2
Arp Solina - Strings
Arp Odyssey Mkii 2810 - Lead"

Matt Barber - 80's in 80 seconds - Episode 3

video upload by Matt Barber - Sounds from The Sandbox

"80's in 80 seconds episode 3 is here to start of the New Year! I thought something "new" should be in 'order' after the busy holiday period. Several familiar sounds in this one that can most likely been dialed in on many synths of the era but this one builds with the hardware listed below. All natural...Certified AI and VST free. Thanks for listening!

Drums -
Korg DDD-1 to start with the first hi-hat
Oberhiem DX Stretch - Main kick, beat kick, snare, additional hi-hat, clap, and rim shot
Roland TR-8S - a little kick for attack, snare ghost notes, and high hat movement

Pad 1 - Oberheim OB-8

BASS - Berhinger Pro 1 and Poly D played with the arpeggio on on the Keystep Pro

Pad 2 - Roland D50 layered with Roland JX-8P and Korg DW8000

Bell - DX 7 ....of course it is!

ARP Chords - Roland Jupiter 4."

Sequential Pro 3 – Moogish Inspired Sounds [Model D] | Custom Presets [Sound Demo]

video upload by R6Synths

"Sequential Pro 3 – Moogish Sounds - Part 1.
My personal collection of Moog inspired Analog Sounds dedicated to the Sequential Pro 3.

The Mini Moog has influenced generations. As a lover of 70s progressive rock, I've admired the Mini Moog's sound since I first started listening to music.

These patches are inspired by the lovely book: Minimoog Sound Charts by Tom Rhea.

To maintain the original spirit of the Model D, these presets are loaded without effects; however, you can activate them as they are configured to enhance the sounds.

Enjoy—you have a great synthesizer in your hands!

Vieni Uomo

video upload by Davide Micheli

Update: walktrough added below.

"This song, titled 'Vieni Uomo,' is inspired by the Italo disco dance music of the 1980s.

This piece was actually recorded using some analog electronic synthesizers and string machines from the 1980s, such as the Crumar Bit99, Crumar Multiman-S, and Solton Programmer 24. The vocal part also features a barely audible Hammond organ background. This part is played along with the String Machine connected to an analog phaser. Other synthesizers I used include the Prophet 6 and the Korg Prologue 16 for some solo parts. For the vocal part, I used the full analog GRP V22 vocoder, which is truly fantastic.

For the drum machine, I used a vintage Dynacord P20-8 bit from the 1980s.

I also used an Oberheim OB-X8 to create an adaptation break before the vocoder part.

This song truly evokes 1980s Italo Disco music, and the sound is typical of that genre.

I'll post a later video detailing the recording process for this song, track by track.

The song is scheduled for release on major streaming platforms on December 3, 2025."
