"Using the A164-1 Manual Gate to trigger stages of the A143-1 Complex Envelope Generator, which are modulating the mix balance of the A134 VC Panning Modules (which double as crossfaders), to vary the mix of the A114 Ring Mod to unmodulated audio. There are 2 ring mods in use, one with a tuned modulator, and the other with an untuned."

"2x Doepfer A120 'moog' filters having the cutoff modded by the same LFO but with one getting an inverted signal, same LFO moding the crossfade between the filters.

The A164-1 manual gate is triggering an envelope to sweep one of the filters too. Lexicon MX300 is on effects duty.

Went hand held on the camera this time, which is a little wobbly but gives a much better idea of what is going on and a little more sense of action. Aspect ratio is odd because i accidentally held the camera end on and had to flip it all round 90 degrees in Movie Maker! I am rubbish!"

"Two circuit bent casios built into an old school wooden synth casing.

Melodic, random, noisy, it pretty much does the lot.

SA1 mods: distortion, pitch, filter, variable speed 2-8 step arpeggiator/LFO with depth control on each step, note hold on two switchable octaves, deep crash.

PT10 mods: drone distortion, pitch, drum booster, lead booster, LFO with depth and rate."

The upper half of the dreadnought is crashed while the lower keys are used for playing and LFO action. Later in the vid the deep crash/glitch control is used to vary the processor crash."

"Commodore 64 inspired chip tune and hi speed lfo drone.

Another run on the dreadnought. This time with some c64 drums added in ableton live (taken from the games delta and armalyte) and a selection of hardcore drum hits later on to build the track.

A good example of how this thing can be used in various lo-fi styles."

"Modified in a similar way to my other 505 except this one was already 'perma bent' to a minor degree when i picked it up. The drum sounds have always been slightly odd and the toms and low conga sound strange when you turn the pitch up beyond it's standard setting. Building a distortion circuit into it proved to be a major headache due to it's bizarre flaws so i took a look at www.burnkit.com and found a cool square wave injection modification there. It may not have the nasty edge of my other tr505 built into it but it has a larger range of sounds. It still sounds cool through some distortion though so at 2.59 i processed the audio in soundforge through the ohm boys vst plugin ohmicide before compiling the video. Ohmicide is the best vsti distortion out there in my opinion and gives a good example of how cool this thing would sound through some decent hardware fx.
