via this auction "This has the MiniMoog Oscillator board, the Filter/VCA board and the Analog board! It is a full MiniMoog in a compact rack mounted unit with full Midi!! This particular unit was down to the fella's at Studio Electronics/Analogia about a year ago for a full tune up, latest OS installed and a 3-prong power cord added. SOUNDS AMAZING!!! The modification adds full Midi with velocity, aftertouch, pitch and modwheel setting, Oscillator sync, an LFO(so you don't have to use a Osc. 3 as an LFO), multi-trigger, sweepable second oscillator, note priority settings(last, low, high) and much, much more!!!"
"Test run with OS1.62 There's lots of new functionality, but a few things that need sorting out. I'm really happy with the newly implemented instant page switching which is great for beats."
Just read this on Palm Sounds. Apparently all reference to the Akai iPK25 featured in these posts is MIA on the Akai website. The original press release came from this link: http://www.akaipro.com/content217667. Note the Synth Station is still listed on their site. Anyone know what's up? It would be unfortunate if the iPK25 never comes out. I was looking forward to it but then I kind of wonder what happens when the new Apple slate comes out. I'm guessing not everyone with an iPhone or iTouch will get the slate, so there should be a market for both, although one controller that can dock either would be ideal.
