Buchla sequence with ZOe module
YouTube Uploaded by Oxix52 on Apr 5, 2011
"This is a short sequence I did using the ZOe and other modules of the Buchla. The ZOe has a very rich and varied sound. I really like the stereo effect you get from panning the quadrature outputs opposite each other. I haven't really figured out much on it yet, but I'm having fun exploring!"
Silent Way ES-1 + CR-78 + Modular + Moog FreqBox
YouTube Uploaded by s0LVentCIty on Apr 5, 2011
"Hi my name is Solvent and this is my 2nd Eurorack modular system video. The big news here is that I've got everything running from Expert Sleepers Silent Way (via Ableton Live) - no Midi, no Midi-to-CV/clock, just Silent Way converting audio directly into CVs and Gates, from my Presonus audio interface into an Expert Sleepers ES-1 module... I've even got my CR-78 clocked via a Silent Way LFO!
The first half is all about that sizzly bassline - DinSync OSC303 + Moog FreqBox's VCO, Bubblesound Sem20's HPF being modulated by an LFO coming from the Korg MS20. Sequence pattern is bring altered in real time by the Intellijel uScale quantizer.
The 2nd half is all about processing the CR-78 through the Flight of Harmony Plague Bearer, which is a weird filter that aims to destroy. And I think it does a fine job of that here."

Dual Cyndustries Zeroscillator
YouTube Uploaded by dwenius on Mar 27, 2011
"WATCH YOUR EARS AND SPEAKERS. There are big volume jumps and some sounds clip the poor little FlipHD microphone. Please be careful, I'm not sure the YT encoding is going to limit that stuff and clean it up. This is my first patch with this setup, just screwing around. Through zero FM and Wave Folding from a Metalbox-built CGS Wave Multiplier, through a Thomas White LPG clone and with help from a Topp 281 Function Generator and Fonik Attenuverter. 2nd ZO is in LFO mode and sending CV to every interesting input on the other modules. Noisy! Spooky! Fun!"
Dual Zeroscillator, take 2
Uploaded by dwenius on Mar 27, 2011
"WATCH YOUR EARS AND SPEAKERS. Unpredictable volume fluctuations and very low frequencies. YouTube's compression algorithm has NO IDEA what to do with this. I mean, it's supposed to be noisy and weird but...not that much. Similar patch as take 1, except with a faster envelope for the typical pinging FM sounds. No "Buchla bongos", though. Still the first bit of noodli9ng with this little lunchbox of doom. Careful viewers will spot the point where I turn a knob with nothing connected to it. Oops. Helps to use your eyes. Thanks to Cynthia, Mike at Metalbox, Thomas White, Toppobrillo, Fonik, Ken Stone, and Todd Fletcher for helping make these modules possible."
via Muff's:
"First patch with the ZOWI and associated new DIY and custom Wiard format modules. Completely random noisy noodling; watch for the spot in the 2nd video where I turn a knob with nothing attached to it d'oh! I had an hour with nobody in the house and figured I'd provide the promised videos; more to come for sure. CAUTION: particularly in the first video, there are some big volume jumps and a resonant screech or two. Watch your ears and speakers! The resonance on the Thomas White RLPG is no joke!
Basic patch is: ZO sin output -> CGS Wave Multiplier "Folds" section -> RLPG. 2nd ZO is in LFO mode, one pair of quadrature outs goes to folds CV and Offset CV, the Folds CV is also multed to control the LPG freq. 2nd pair of quadrature outs go to the Attack and Decay CV of a cycling 281 envelope. One Attenuverting output is used as an offset to the v/Oct in of the LFO speed ZO, providing crude manual control of event timing smile Slight delay and too much nasty reverb from a Boss RE-20 in the FX loop of the MFOS stereo mixer that's just offscreen in the Euro rig."

Wasp Dual Bandpass filters in series
YouTube Uploaded by dwenius on Jan 20, 2010
"The Metalbox Dual Wasp filter is here driven by a sawtooth sequence, modulated with an AR envelope, and also fed with inverted copies of the same 8 note sequence (different than the note data). This is a real sweet spot for this filter and this brief example only hints at the vocal timbres possible."
Metalbox Dual Wasp
Uploaded by dwenius on Jan 20, 2010
"Here we have a demo of the Metalbox Dual Wasp filter, based on the CMOS filter from the EDP Wasp. This is a state-variable design that won't quite self-oscillate, but takes FM like a champ and has some very exploitable circuit features. This demo shows the Low Pass mode filtering a saw wave, with LFO modulation ranging between a slow sinewave sweep to audio-rate FM.
It is very difficult to make a video of this filter that is short enough to upload to You Tube! It sucks you in and boom, 15 minutes and 3GB go by..."
Klee noodle
YouTube Uploaded by dwenius on Apr 1, 2011
"Put together a patch with the Klee sequencer, two Intellijel uScales, Clockwork, STG Graphic Sequencer, RCD, and basically every Wiard module I own. The patch is nicely playable, although this particular cut isn't as well put together as I would like. Direct to Flip HD, first and only take. It starts to get interesting around the 1:40 mark and really picks up shortly after the 4 minute mark. Enjoy, or don't."
Vince Clarke's Analogue Monologues Part 6 - The Polyfusion

"The sixth webisode in Vince Clarke's increasingly irreverent series of 'Analogue Monologues' on online now for you. Dedicated to the Polyfusion it's another winner, whether you have a deep interest in the world of vintage synthesisers or not. Music, facts, humour and a picture of some hippies, what more could you need! I've also done a lot of work on the video player on the website which will - hopefully - mean that it will stream without quite as many problems as previously... check it out!"
