Claude Controller Demo 1_0001.wmv

"Here are some musical examples using my Claude Controller with keyboard 'Vibe Bar' and peddle board. I explain how to use the wheels etc to shape the sound in real time, thereby allowing the synthesiser to become a much more expressive instrument.
It's still early days and I'm working on my technique to fully exploit the vast sonic possibilities of VST plugins.

Comments and feed back are most welcome.
I hope to be producing these for sale in the near future.

"3 Layers with 2 Control Voltages plus Key Parameters, Fourth Key only Layer, Five Octave Velocity Sensistive Keyboard, 256 Event x 42 bit Memory Each event comprises 2 x 6-bit Control Voltages and 13-bit Start & Stop times, Internal (0.1 - 200 Hz) or External Clock, Plays Forwards and Backwards, Editing. Comes with original set of schematics and its original shipping crate (minus the original foam which was removed due to crumbling). This is a very lightly used super rare EMS unit that when built was six times the price of a Synthi AKS. To create this unit in its day required super high level engineering and design. Thus this unit is extremely complex in nature and will require a well trained technician for all maintenance. Currently the unit is “working”. I add quotations to working because the unit has not been serviced and brought up to factory spec and therefore should be considered unreliable until fully serviced..."

Commodore 64 Drums for Ableton Live SID 8-bit
YouTube Uploaded by AfroDjMac on Mar 15, 2012
"Commodore 64 SID chip drums for Ableton Live drum racks. This is a cool collection of retro 8-bit drum sounds. There are effects assigned to macro knobs to allow for extreme glitching and subtle finessing.

Paradiso Modular - Online Physical Programable Modular

The Paradiso modular was recently featured in this video. What you might have missed, myself included, is that it is actually programmable online here. Via Wired : "Now, anyone can play one of the biggest modular synthesizers in the world, thanks to a new project, code-named 'PatchWerk.' With PatchWerk’s simple web interface, users around the world can control the colossal rig in real time, from its current home at the MIT Museum...
By manipulating various toggles on the web interface, users around the world can turn on a sweeping oscillator sound, activate the chaotic sequencer, turn on drum machines and a growling speech synthesizer sound, control frequency and tempo, and much more. Letting anyone play the synth in real time could potentially lead to chaos, but the current design of PatchWerk — which has a small group of users experiment with sounds while other users wait in a queue — is meant to help control for that... (You can listen to the synth at any time, day or night.)"If you take a look at the Paradiso label you'll see the first mention comes in the comments of this Cat on a Modular post from back in 2005.
