Korg EMX-1: "Everybody Dance" by Danielle
YouTube Uploaded by TheSynthFreq on Mar 29, 2012
"HI :) 80s funk, old school style track created using the Korg EMX-1. The synth parts were created by using a 6-Osc saw waveform and modulating it slightly with an LFO (Tri) routed to the filter and the patch is gated.
I had to add the cheesy Orch. Hit too, just couldn't help it. hehe
Please enjoy! :)

Korg EMX-1: "In Real Time" by Danielle
Uploaded by TheSynthFreq on Mar 29, 2012
"HI :) New Korg EMX-1 sounds and 80s track. All the synth parts were created using the Korg's waveforms, all parts were created using the "6 Osc" setting. The bass line is also 6-Osc but the amp contour shortened and also gated. Partial mute is also used to remove and add in the synth line in real time.
I also use the arp controller on the left side of the EMX to act as a repeating "trig" in the drum sounds to change add variation. The second synth part I programmed to sound like the famous Gary Numan's "Vox humana" patch. Although the EMX is mono on every synth part, using a midi controller synth allows it to be polyphonic but only externally.
Please Enjoy! :)
:) TSF"
