"The plug and perform simplicity of our stand-alone Triple Six synth has been carefully distilled into Eurorack format by hirsute hands. We designed a single module as powerful as an expensive array of traditional VCO/VCF/VCA modules patched together. While no compromise to the true spirit of the original circuit was afforded we worked especially hard to make this one of the most compatible Eurorack instruments available with a generous array of 9 distinct control voltage inputs:

Added into the Euro-Format bargain are three additional new controls not available on the original:

· Shape-Knob
· Patch-Knob
· Three-way Patch Switch

In essence it is quite possible that this one module alone, placed under the control of up to 9 separate sequenced CV channels, could sound like someone slipped a C4 charge into Tonto’s “expanding headband”.

Features:
· 2 for Twin Oscillators Freq.
· 1 for Threshold (Osc. Gate/Selection/Etc.)
· 4 for Twin Amplifiers (FX/2nd Osc.)
· 1 for Signal Shape parameter (filter)
· 1 for Output Drive parameter
· Plus audio input (modulation/filter/etc)

Sound Samples:
§ 666 Solo 1
§ 666 with Reverb; Troggota & Fugue in D Minor
§ A 666 M-series demonstration by Weinglas
§ 666 with old Drum Machine patched to the Input
§ 666 with Bob & Doug McKenzie"

Beep-it Optical Theremin Light Controlled Synth Sound Effects Generator

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated. via this auction
"Are you a musician (or just someone who loves making noise)? Like crazy noisemakers? Want to drive your parents/spouse/kids/dog/cat crazy? Like any product that involves a Big Red Button? You'll love the Beep-it Optical Theremin. It is a hand-held, rectangular device that features a Big Red Button, a volume knob, a 1/4" jack, and a light sensitive resistor. Simply put in a 9 volt battery and you'll be ready to play.

As an optical theremin, it outputs a square wave whose pitch is controlled by the amount of light striking a photoresistor. You control the pitch by casting shadows over the light sensor or by pointing it toward or away from a light source. Using a flashing light can induce a cool oscillating effect. It's fun for amateur noisemakers, but powerful enough for professionals working in experimental, hip-hop, electronic, sample-heavy, and indie rock genres. It is simple to use and powerful enough to appeal to any musician to use in a live set or recording or sampling session.

Dark Time days are going on - studio tour (II)

YouTube Published on Apr 21, 2012 by skoulaman

"I created a nice pattern with the Doepfer Dark Time, not all the steps are used (skip) and some of the are used but without sound. Normally with all steps used you create the Berlin skoolisch sounds but now a more "normal" ritme is created. A special attention is made for the Electrix Mo-fx and the DS8, in my opinion underrated instruments. I cought my hands on very rare ROM cards, the DSC01 and DSC03 so I used a sound from one of the cards. The vid is somewhat uncontrolled but I wanted to show how this song was build up. I put some written info to it.

Have pleasure with the vid and music and always listen to this kind of music with a good pair of headphones ore speakers

greetings Hans "Skoulaman"

and thx for listening"
