"Here is a very nice example of a Roland Compurhythm CR-8000. This one was set up for the British market using 220 volts. It now comes with a brand new, heavy duty transformer that allows it to work with 110 volts (USA current). The little Chiclet buttons are notorious for intermittent operation and this rig was displaying just such symptoms. So we sent it to Gumi Electronics in Nashville (Google him) and he did his $190 (plus shipping) magic on all the buttons. It now works as new (maybe better than new). Included is a manual we downloaded and a new Roland DP-2 pedal. We got this from the guy who bought it new in England and brought it back to the US. It was then in storage for many years before it was traded in..."

Moog Opus 3 Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer

"The Chorus section for the String sound is slightly weaker than it should be. this is due to 2 of the 3 BDD chips that make the chorus board being disfunctional. (the string section along with all the other sound features on this synth are 100% functional)

The Delay fader for the modulation still works 100% efficiently but the fader seems to have been disjointed from the facia so it has to be moved with a certain degree of technique (not as smooth and practical as all the other faders)

The only original part missing is the fader cap for the string filter.

The Opus is a real joy to play and sounds unique. It was recently serviced by Gareth at Sound Service, Leeds to ensure the optimum performance from the keyboard and controls"

Looper / Glitch experiment 2 (DSI Tempest, Octatrack, Remote midi controller)

YouTube Published on Jun 17, 2012 by RoonanTV

"This is one part of a double experiment trying to make a Glitch jamsession of just one pattern on the Tempest. In this session I used an Octatrack with external controller. I used three tracks, but only one recorder. I recoreded 1 bar loops by arming the recording trigger. This way everything stays in perfect sync and you can record loops at will. Playing this loops can be done on all 8 tracks and you can modify each parameter on each steps of all tracks. It will take some time to set up some nice and glitchy stuff, but once prepeared it will be usable for a long time. This example is setup in just a few minutes. It is just a short example and not a musical statement.

The Tempest pattern is from the sound design contest: beat Ace Tone Roz"
