Experimental project of Ondes Martenot like CV controller for MS-20 mini

Published on Apr 25, 2016 karenevil

"Finally I made Ondes Martenot like CV controller for MS-20 mini :D

For more info please visit http://karenevil.blogspot.jp/2016/04/..."

The Ondes Martenot had a ring on a string pitch controller as you can see pictured in Karen Evil's design to the left.  It acts much like a ribbon controller but instead of pressing down you place your finger in the ring and hope it doesn't get sliced off. jk.  :)

There is also the gate/trigger pedal contraption to trigger notes as you can see in the video.

If you aren't familiar with the Ondes Martenot, see the label below for previous posts.

Synth in 60: Moog Mother-32s and a Sub Phatty #2

Published on Apr 25, 2016 Patrick OBrien

"The Moog Sub Phatty and two Moog Mother-32s play together to for this patch, with background drum tracks from my modular synth.

The focus is how the two Mother-32s tempos are synced with each other. I'm also sending a clock to the modular synths (off camera) where I'm using Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum, Mutant Snare, Mutant HiHats and Mutant Clap modules -- adding in Malekko's Varigate 4 for the trills in the Mutant Clap.

The Moog Sub Phatty's unique scream comes from the software editor program with a library of presets, one called "Death of Dr. Who".

The Korg MS-10 provides the bass drone near the end."
