Beta Distortion Particle

Published on Feb 8, 2017 A Box In The Sea

"Recorded to micro-cassette a 4 minute chord progression while playing piano and fed this through the Octatrack, Clouds (manipulated via Frames and Ultra Random Analog) and the Reflex Liveloop (controlled via midi from the second NanoKontrol). Everything is parallel processed between Warps, Optodist, Echo Degrader, Big Sky and EPSI then recorded live to 2 track."

"This is a beautiful vintage synth in excellent condition. One owner, (the first female Windham Hill artist) bought new in the 80's when working with Mark Isham, and impressed by the magic he was making with the OB-8. This synth was used on only a handful of local gigs. It works perfectly and was recently checked over by a keyboard repair professional. Midi capable. Purchased in late 1984, Serial # C33233."

"Including a System J Synthesizers TC-X Universal Trigger Interface (see photo). It will convert V-Trig to S-Trig or the opposite S-Trig to V-Trig. It will convert short triggers and longer gate signals and is compatible with most vintage synthesizers from Roland, Korg, Moog, ARP, Sequential Circuits, Oberheim, Yamaha and many others. Also suitable for interfacing vintage synths with more modern modular gear..."

Moog Taurus II 1980's Analog Synthesizer SN 1581

Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"This is a Moog Taurus II analog monophonic synthesizer from 1980-83. It is mainly designed as a bass synth that is controlled by a pedal keyboard, however it is not restricted to playing only low notes. The synth features:

- Two voltage controlled oscillators (Saw or Square) w/ sync + noise.

- one LFO (.3 - 30Hz) w/ triangle, pulse, and random waveforms

- One contour generator (attack and decay)

- a 4 pole Moog filter

- pitch and modulation wheels, and variable glide

It is designed to play with the pedal keyboard, but it could be controlled by the proper type of analog voltage controlled synth keyboard. Please note that the jack on the back that looks like a MIDI port is NOT a MIDI port! This synth has no MIDI (or any sort of digital components). The jack is used to connect the pedals."

Moog Prodigy Vintage Analog Mono Synthesizer SN 10339

Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction, also on Reverb.

"This unit is in working condition. All the keys, knobs, and switches work.

This version includes the following external controls:
- S-TRIG In/Out
- KYBD In/Out
- OSC In
- VCF In
- SYNC In

These allow the filters to be triggered and controlled by an external source."
