Viva La Convolution! Exploring the Logidy EPSi Reverb with Synths

"I have no idea why everyone doesn't have this little reverb unit in their arsenal. Software convolution reverb are great! but having one in hardware form is even better.

And I'm surprised how easy it is to capture IRs (Impulse Reverbs) to add to this unit, or how non-traditional sounds can become awesome reverb tails.

It was used in a professional smoke free studio.

The Serial Number is 24732158.

The ARP Omni 2 Synthesizer is an analog synth that it is split into 3 simultaneously available sections: strings, synthesizer, and bass synth. It is basically a Solina String Ensemble with an additional synth section.

Features
-Traditional and simple VCA, VCF, and LFO controls for contouring sounds
-Preset Orchestral String sounds
-Polyphonic Violin and Viola waveforms
-Monophonic Bass and Cello waveforms
-All steel chassis with an orange and black color scheme

Goodbye To Mutable Instruments Clouds

"As we recently bid farewell to Mutable Instruments Braids, we now offer a respectful commemoration of Clouds: the texture synthesizer so many have come to love. Another mainstay of countless racks both new and old, the Clouds has done everything from deep washes to clicky, sputtery gestures and the world of Eurorack is weirder and more interesting for its existence.

In this video, two Clouds in standard granular mode process a sequenced line from two Dixie II+'s run through an AJH Minimod Transistor Ladder VCF. Their outputs are summed with a XAOC Praga and run through a third Clouds in looping delay mode. Random modulation and looping envelopes scrub, chop, loop, and generally texturize the sequence for an ambient layer of sputtery, wandering harmony.

Clouds may be discontinued, but it certainly is not gone from our hearts and our music.

"This is the last (mark V) of the Pro-Soloist models that ARP made. It succeeds the Soloist (black & white; 1970), Pro-Soloist Mk I (black with gold lettering; 1972), Pro-Solist Mk II (black w/ white lettering; 1974) and Pro/DGX Mk I (black w/ wood ends and particle board bottom; 1977).

It's an analog synthesizer with digital controls. The lights above and below the switches indicate which sound is selected. So, you're never confused."
